Fall fishing for perch and crappie on Moses Lake is tremendous this year. My friend James Lebow and I launched at Peninsula Park and ran down to the bottom end of Goat Island. Here we found abundant numbers of yellow perch and put almost 40 in the live well. We then ran up to the I-90 Bridge. The depth finder was filled with fish and it turned out that crappie were here by the hundreds! We tied up to one of the pilings beneath the bridge and watched anglers above us reeling in crappie after crappie. Once we figured it out we also had a blast catching them. The fishing is great right now and should even be good this winter through the ice, and again next spring. It’s great to see terrific perch and crappie fishing back on Moses Lake!
