I think a jig is the best lure for bass ever created. The deer is not as trusting lately, I'm sure she knows not to trust humans when it's hunting season.

Nice job working the jig to get some nice spots! I need to slow it down and try a jig on Lanier. Went out today and caught a nice 18 inch spot on a crankbait and a 17.5 inch spot on topwater. The area of Lanier I fish is in full turnover but some coves have clear water. Can’t wait for the fishing to pick back up. Thanks again for another great video!

Once again the jig gets it done👍🏻. I went back to hartwell on Tuesday. The back of the creek I fish was clearing up from turnover and that was where all the bait and fish were. Had one of my best days. Caught them all on a shakey head worm and a small jerk bait.

@@jasonclauss267 caught all the fish on the shakey head in 15-20 ft of water. Middle of the creek on the bottom. Through the jerk bait at schooling fish when they would come up.

Tough outing last week. Two anglers, three fish. The jig didn't work. Dragging a worm and tossing a fluke barely got it done. Water temp was around 70. What water temp will get 'em going Dana?

I think it's more than the water temp that will get them going. We need the air temp to get cooler, though. The turnover will take a bit longer because it's so warm. This has been a strange year, so your guess is as good as mine. I can't remember a slower October.
