you said once that time of the month was your way of combining vlogging and being a filmmaker, and every time i watch a time of the month i can really see it. i really love this series because yeah, they're vlogs, but they guaranteed always leave me with a message that will stick and my head and make me think. that's honestly amazing and something so unique to find. i will definitely miss time of the month, but i am so excited to see what you get up to in the future.

okay I want to buy a book version of happy. I've just been diagnosed with a rare disease called chronic regional pain syndrome - a disease that gives me chronic pain throughout my body, has no apparent cause, and no cure. I could get better. Some people with it get better in a year, some in two years, and some never. Most of them are in wheelchairs. I could be too, but the people in wheelchairs don't get better, and I'm going to fucking fight to get rid of this. I feel like my whole body is on fire all the time, and each step I take kills, and my painkillers don't work and have a side effect of depression, but even though I'm scared shitless by my own body and brain, I won't let it beat me. It's hard sometimes, and I cry and want to give in more than anything else, but I have to pick myself up and go to school and be positive, and watching 'happy' makes me feel so much more positive about the future. It's my go-to thing when it's all bad and I'd like to say thank you for that. Thanks for the positive feelings I need to be strong and keep going. Owning a physical copy would be great, just to keep in my bag so that wherever I am, I have that reminder. Hazel Hayes, you're a fucking incredible woman and a pretty big inspiration.

I also relate so much to the idea that by partaking in the creative process, whether it be writing, filming, painting, ect, ect, you come out the other side more informed about your own feelings toward whatever is going on in your life. I often find I'll begin making something almost as a question and by the end I've answered it.

My goodness Hazel, with every totm, you find me smiling, you find me laughing, you find me crying, sometimes, most times, all 3 at once. You have a way with the camera and with words to encapsulate life so well and I just applaud you and thank you for that. You are an incredible woman that has taught me so much in the past year or so that I have been subscribed to you and you keep surprising me with new lessons every time. I will admit, life has not been easy for me lately, but hearing you talk about shitty times and about happiness put a completely different perspective in my brain, so I thank you once more for that. I hope, even in the slightest, we, as the audience, can bring even remotely the same happiness and wisdom as you share with us all the time. I cannot say I won't be sad about not having totm's for 2017, however you are an incredible woman with a fucking phenomenal brain and I cannot wait to see what it comes up with. Best of luck, I see only grand things in your future! Much love!

Dear Hazel Every time I think about TOTM coming to an end, I have a little weep - whether externally or internally. I sat for a bit after watching October and asked myself why the ending of this series affected me so much... I've realised that it's because watching you go through all that you've been through - all the ups and downs, triumphs and moments of self doubt, have made me look at my own life differently. Seeing you go through your life has helped me realise that I'm not alone in the emotions and struggles I face, that there will be brighter days to come and that sometimes terrible, heartbreaking things happen but it's up to us to navigate a way forward. Your TOTM series has been so raw, so emotional, so unbelievably joyous and unspeakably sad at times and it's held up a mirror for us all. I've cried with you, laughed with you and rooted for your success and in a way I've begun rooting for myself. I look forward to the wonderful, inspiring, educational, funny, uniquely Hazel things you will create in the months and years to come. Thank you

Oh Hazel Hayes this will always be my favorite series of anything I've ever watched. I've loved watching you grow through the years as a woman and astonishing film maker. There was a time when i had been so gutted, I couldn't get off my dads couch. I had been played by this girl I loved for 10 years, but watching you helped a tremendous amount, it gave me hope. I've learned so much about myself through watching the last years of totm and for that I'll never know how to repay you.

After I started watching TOTM, I started trying to document some of my happy moments by taking pictures (not high quality, just with enough context that I would be able to remember what made me happy when I looked back on them). It's so easy to lose those moments due to limited memory capacity, since the nice ones often seem to fade more quickly than the bad ones. Thanks for sharing your life and insights in such a beautiful way!

I'm sad TOTM will be over soon, but only because it's such amazing content that is old school film in its mindset but modern in its execution, as well as thought-provoking, emotional and just intelligent in its own right. But already the content that has been sub-produced through TOTM (like Happy) is so good that I am excited to see what the future holds for you! Keep going Hazel, and thank you!

I love the editing and pacing in these. Moments aren't rushed, you get to appreciate them through recaps with Dan or Jack or through the music continuing over cuts to you travelling or complete everyday tasks. It gives Time of The Month a very different feel from other series. Sad to hear it's ending but looking forward to the last two installments when you get time to upload them. Best wishes.

Such a joy to watch! Thank you for these Hazel. I know they're a lot of work and a lot of trust you've given us by sharing these parts of your life. They really do make an impact and not a small one. Me, I keep going back to TOTM April 2016. I must've watched your outro at least 10 times. For a long time now I've been thinking about the concept of 'home'. It's such a simple term but carries so much weight for me. Like you said, I know which stairs will crack when I step on them and what door gets stuck a bit if you don't open it right. I know the house, yet don't know of it's my home. I've lived here all my life yet have always struggled calling it home. There's a lot of thought and feelings with the idea of a home and sometimes it gets too much. Rewatching your TOTM helps. It helps to think about it differently. To know I'm not the only one. Maybe we have different views, different feelings. But those few minutes of you talking, sharing, they help. I can't put it into words correctly. I just want to say thank you. for all the video's. All the thoughts and feelings. For giving us not only a place to escape to, but also one to (and I know the irony of using this word) come home to. thanks!

Thaaaank you Hazel! Honestly, you are the creator on youtube whose content I enjoy the most, the person whose uploads I look forward to the most. I'm at this weird stage in my life right now where I'm supposed to be an adult but still figuring so much out along the way, and it's so inspiring for me to see you talk about your dreams, how you want to achieve them, that you're an adult but you're still constantly working on getting closer to what you want to do, who you want to be, and that helps me so much with finding out who I want to be, what my dreams are, and that it's ok to not be there yet as long as I keep trying. And also, your TOTM videos are always so so beautiful, so carefully put together, telling a story and taking us along. I just really love what you do.
