Then right afterwards she says that "That means that Nikaido-san was telling the truth about one of them." which is an immediate red flag. All that tells them is that Nikaido was *lying* about one of those two, not that she actually did one. Sakura slipped up twice. She *knew* Nikaido was telling the truth about one.

@@WingedSupernova what she's implying is that both of us aren't capable of killing or dumping a body, so both sentences must have came from her, and since only 1 of them can be a lie, she must have done one of those.. It's not as much of slipping up, but that of shifting the crimes onto her and clearing up herself by saying we are both innocent..

Shiho, wakes up one morning, weeks after the public apology. She's brushing her teeth, and her mind wanders. She remembers noticing that Rui seems the most distraught about the whole ordeal, while also finding it strange that she still hasn't admitted to killing anyone. Her mind wanders..."If she didn't kill anyone, then...". Shiho then spits out her toothpaste in a panic, dirtying her bathroom mirror.

Out of all the audio dramas this one has my favourite title: 1. After revealing their lies Shiho realises at least one of the dangerous confessions is true 2. Wadagaki finds out about Nagashima's podcast 3. Mitsuya's body has been recovered and identified (the cat is literally out of the bag)

*spoiler if anyone's watching these inbetween episodes* The ending is perhaps more ominous but the interaction over the hamichi is so revealing of Sakura's character. Shiho makes it clear she wants it first but Sakura just disregards it to flatly push her own want. Then when Shiho is considerate enough to offer to play jankenpon for it, Sakura luckily wins and takes it without any self-consciousness over Shiho's disappointment. It shows how entitled she is and how little she cares about others wants. It even showcases her uncanny luck.

@@XavierSolorzanoArias I did, which is why I was wondering what would happen to Sakura if NO ONE told her about Satoshi's site. Sakura's a pretty lucky black cat if you ask me, unlike Yuki. Heck she probably just took and dropped Tanaka's phone in Odokawa's taxi just because she can. Imagine a stranger asking you to bug another taxi with the phone and Sakura is like, "lol sure why not."

But still as you said it's quite interesting how her mother not only helped her by giving her the info about the recording but also her nonchalant attitude on the ep she's on... the mother is definitely someone dangerous as well.

@@tinybee7780 and that thing with the cellphone is what kills me the most, I'm still waiting for the Audio Drama 13 so I'm not sure if it's being told there. But how the... (more like) why the hell would she do that? How did she know Tanaka had something against Odokawa and why did she help him by planting the phone. Was it even his phone? At first I thought it was hers and the intrigue has been bothering me ever since.

@@XavierSolorzanoArias Like what I've said, it's probably because of her extreme luck that she was able to get away with everything so far. She managed to take advantage of Yamamoto and Nikaido's stupidity, She was the 4th choice in an idol group that can only have 3 members, She "happens" to look almost identical to Yuki that's why she had to have the mask on, her being informed that she was recorded thanks to her mom, If you don't call those things lucky then I don't know what is. As for the last audio drama I kinda already know what happens next. It's also the smoking gun which will probably help the police or even the Yakuza(Kuroda and co.) track her down. It's a shame those who only watch the anime will never know what's happening behind the scenes. As for the Sakura and Tanaka link, the best thing I can come up with is that Sakura was supposed to ride the taxi Odokawa and Yamamoto were in, but since Tanaka and the old man where already tailing the other two she "happened" to go near the wrong taxi. From the way Tanaka looks she probably realized that he was following Odokawa, and so when Tanaka asked if she can bug the taxi for him via his phone she just went along with it. That's probably why in the end since Tanaka was unable to "deal with Odokawa" she decided to look for the taxi herself. Hence the end of Ep.13.

End of season spoiler I love how Wadagaki leads Ichimura around to associate the two worst 'secrets' with Nikaido when there's no logical step to say they couldn't be true for any of the three of them and the fact that Wadagaki could only make that play by knowing that Ichimura wasn't involved, if this was Death Note with L's 189 IQ she would of been found out for sure.

"The cat is out of the bag" could be a reference to the experiment known as "Schrodinger Cat". Basically you put a cat in a box with a vial of poison which, within a hour, has the 50% of probability to open during a casual moment; since it's impossible to know if and when the poison will act, until the box is open the cat can be considered either alive or dead. Someone said Sakura was literally a Schrodinger Cat during the final episode, and now I'm starting to believe he/she was referring to this Audio Drama (or maybe her species); in the final moment, Odokawa represents the poison and his taxi is the box. It could either happen that Odokawa takes her out of Tokyo and gets killed, so that Sakura is free, or he can bring her to the police since he recognizes she's the girl he took on October 4th. And considering the theme of bad luck hitting everyone at one point, because of their actions or obsessions, I believe the 2nd option is more likely to happen. And if she decides to kill him when he's driving to the police, well, she gets arrested anyway and bye-bye to her idol carrier.

@@FDomGon Another interpretation which is even more mindblowing. this series is about odd things being put away to restore normalcy, but what we really have to look at are the odd circumstances. While everyone in the end gets punished, in reality only the people who never hurt the others the said punishment is related to their mistakes and obsessions: Dobu, ironically, fails because of the only person he never hurt intentionally and because of some absurd circumstances, not because of the people he caused problems to; Yano and Sekiguchi simply gets beaten by Dobu, instead of quitting the badger games; and Nikaido, who lived according to a very strong obsession, not only accidentally discovers a secret which will prevent her to live normally, but in the end gets arrested for something she didn't do. To some other extent, even a victim like Shirakawa gets abused as a consequence of her debt, but the police never get to know the culprit of selling medicines. If we commit mistakes, have obsessions or hurt the others, eventually we reach a point of self-destruction throught either logical consequences or the oddest circumstances; but what it's really odd is that sometimes the punishment seems to go in a complete different way, like you can't even compare cause and effect: it's a chaotic and unpredictable system. So, just like some people gets bad luck, some criminals like Sakura gets safe - because the odds didn't happen to be against her. But it doesn't end here: there's actually a possibility of she still getting punished in a way that doesn't seem to correlate cause and effect, since she could be took to police by a mere taxi driver who happens to be affiliated with the police without her knowledge. So, yeah. There's the possibility of a happy ending and now I like the finale a lot more.

@@Sancnea Simply because Sakura was a cat. And now she can either be alive or dead according to what Odokawa does. But you're right, there's also the interpretation you get if you reverse the roles.

[I POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG COMMENT SECTION IM SO SORRY] We already know a fair amount of which ones are true and which ones aren't, considering the events of the anime (Rui hiding a body and having a boyfriend being her two truths, Sakura killing someone as one of her truths and being married as her lie and shihos incense sticks as her lie and having a "sugar daddy" [if we assume she's talking about kakihana and the badger game] as one of her truths) which means that, at the very least, either Sakura or Shiho have had plastic surgery (unlikely to be Shiho since her whole thing is that she's poor and cosmetic surgery is not cheap!) Did couch casting or Talked bad about their members online. (Wow... so spicy....[I actually think this one is Shiho considering that she has stated that she really didn't like Sakura]). It's not like we can tell though!

I was frankly sure it was her that got plastic surgery but my reasoning was just "she did say she was gonna do whatever it takes to get to stardom" not to like, do identity theft. Not like we will be able to tell since we don't get to see the character's actual face most of the time or from before she was an idol and stuff like "in odokawas fursona vision she is a cat but mom is an otter" doesn't really seem to matter when you consider that the character who she's replacing also doesn't fit her parents' species.

In the last episode, "Mitsuya" was planning on killing Odokawa so that she didn't have to worry about him revealing the incriminating dash cam data. Now that Nagashiro also has semi-incriminating evidence on her, it only makes sense "Mitsuya" is after him too.
