Speaking at the JPMorgan Global China Summit in Shanghai, Dimon said the worst outcome for the US economy will be a “stagflation” scenario, where inflation continues to rise, but growth slows amid high unemployment.

The United States as we know it is no more. All signs point to 2024 being a year of significant economic hardship for the entire nation. Put your cash to use straight away to increase its value. I was aware that I needed to invest. I had no idea how quickly a few thousand dollars a month would go up. Though it is. Since 2020, I've made about $600,000.

When you first start off, you should get advise from a fiduciary counsellor if you don't want to crash and burn. They adopt a profit-driven approach based on individual risk tolerance because their entire skill set is built on simultaneously trading long and short.

Due to my demanding job, I lack the time to thoroughly assess my investments and analyze individual stocks. Consequently, for the past seven years, I have enlisted the services of a fiduciary who actively manages my portfolio to adapt to the current market conditions. This strategy has allowed me to navigate the financial landscape successfully, making informed decisions on when to buy and sell. Perhaps you should consider a similar approach.

A perfect storm is brewing in the United States. Inflation, bank collapse, severe drought in the agricultural belt, recession, food shortages, diesel fuel and heating oil shortages, baby formula shortages, available automobile shortages and prices, the price of living place. It's all coming together and it could lead to a real disaster towards the end of this year (or sooner). With inflation currently at about 6%, my primary concern is how to maximize my savings/retirement fund of about $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains.

More and more people might face a tough time in retirement. Low-paying jobs, inflation, and high rents make it hard to save. Now, middle-class Americans find it tough to own a home too, leaving them without a place to retire.

The increasing prices have impacted my plan to retire at 62, work part-time, and save for the future. I'm concerned about whether those who navigated the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am currently experiencing. The combination of stock market volatility and a decrease in income is causing anxiety about whether I'll have sufficient funds for retirement.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

The whole talk about "reverse" market crash (real estate and stock market) basically argues that we are nowhere near done with inflation and that we might actually experience "hyperinflation" in the near future combined with accelerating poverty levels across the nation or going thru a historical economic depression...those are the extreme conditions that have produced the reverse market crashes in most examples I've seen. Wow! What a great video. you so well articulated. Monetary and Fiscal policies should work hand in hand to have a full effect, but we live in an era where government just doesn't care, it will spend and double-down and spend more and more.. it just doesn't care, and it would debilitate the monetary policy. The sad outcome will be likely BOTH the transition to a digital dollar CBDC that will give ultimate control to the government thus shrinking even more the independence of the central bank. At some point the central bank will have no actual meaning left. Honestly, it feels we're not too far from it already..... I would buy Bitcoin and buy hard assets like gold /silver as a store of value while also actively trading...The only wild card for us investors is to actively engage the market by trading, it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 100k to a decent 432k in the space of a few months... Regarding the crash, In Jan. 2023, no one predicted the 400 billion dollar bank bailout (mass liquidity). No one predicted the Congress would go insane with 'multi-trillion dollar projects. (ie, MORE liquidity)' Interest rates haven't declined because of these inflation driving liquidity dumps. There's no crash YET and Congress is adding $2.5 Trillion to the debt ANNUALLY. *Utterly unpayable*
@Art-is-craft
@Art-is-craft Ай бұрын
The reason for that is because the US does not produce that much new money. Over decades the US has a very conservative money creation. 2.5 trillion is nothing for the US as a whole. It does cause internal market issues when dumped into the market all at the same time but they tend up to horde and drip it into the market.

Agreed on many points. The one thing we can be sure of is the fed note degradation. How do we know that? If you were paid an average salary in the 50's which was $3,400 + or - and wanted to be paid in one ounce gold coins, you would have received 92 or so gold ounces. If you wanted to be paid in today's average salary of say $36,000 + or - you would receive 22 one ounce gold coins. Let that sink in. The root of our problems and know one see's it

So the fact that the US dollar is failing isn't alarming to u? Prices going up isn't alarming? Countries would trade using the US dollar, now some countries are choosing to use their own currency or another, as long as it's not USD. The US has about 30 trillion dollars of debt, yet we're still giving money to Ukraine...and ur not alarmed? Trust me it's gonna hit hard when the walls come crashing down. Especially for the people who weren't prepared or expecting this

The national debt is growing by $1 Trillion every 100 days. This kind of government spending makes forecasting extremely difficult. One thing is certain. The current path is unsustainable. When the interest on the debt reaches a point where it overwhelms all other government spending, the collapse will be imminent. When exactly that is going to happen is uncertain but it will definitely happen in the next few years.

Compiled this with extremely inflated cost of goods and food prices brought on by the industrial Carbon Tax. Stagflation is WAY harder to have surface than you think. The main drivers of inflation during 1970 were the Equal Pay Act and the ability for women to take our credit cards in their own name. We had a demand pull inflation problem in the 70’s and it’s the same right now. The oil embargo didn’t help either but it wasn’t the CAUSE of massive amounts of inflation during the 70’s. The Fed and policy makers thought raising women’s wages 335% from 1969 to 1975 then dropping them some fresh new revolving lines of credit would help drive more spending and in return, create more jobs. Instead, they created inflation. Not to mention the savings rate was around 15% so people had a lot of money to burn. Today? It’s around 3%. This also made inflation a problem and pretty much everything you can think of is completely the opposite of the 70’s, except a war in Israel.
