@@OdinMakes Hi Odin! Just wanted to say I've been really enjoying your livestreams! I think your Mechagodzilla project is absolutely incredible. I'm in awe with how much work goes into creating something like this and just wanted to say how much I appreciate your skills. Absolutely amazing. I'm going to be looking forward to seeing your future episodes, what you do really is visual ASMR!

Imagine going to a con, seeing an amazing mechagodzilla costume and he's just talking props and whatnot in a rather soothing voice.
This is by far the coolest cosplay build ever! I am overrun with nostalgia right now. Odin, you are truly gifted!

Great video and really cool how these updates work so well! One idea so the cord doesn't go down the center of your face, maybe when the cord gets to the top of your head, it splits in two, and then the two ends attach to the far ends of the chin cup. So then it sits on the sides of your head and might not feel as awkward. But as it stands, really cool!

Today on Mechagodzilla makes Odin: Hee, hee looks excellent and I was wondering how the lazy susan was going to make controlling the direction of the head a problem but it seemed to come out alright. Maybe include a speaker and soundbox in the head to add a controllable sound effect roar for effect?

Seeing the head improved like this and seeing the mouth move finally is kinda magical. This is turning out amazing Odin. I love this build, it’s just so cool. There are two props I’ve always wanted to make myself, but have no clue how to make them without motors or other electronics and I thought maybe you’d be the best person to try them out in a possible future video. The first is a “functional” web shooter, meaning it can shoot and then retract and reload itself. I made something similar with a wind up dog leash, but you have to throw your arm out and can’t just point and shoot. The other is Daredevil’s Billy club grappling hook. Not sure if that one is possible, but it would be so cool if it is

Really awesome seeing all the puppetry work coming together in this cool cosplay! Here's a suggestion regarding the string in the middle of your face: instead of having a single string attached to middle of the chin piece, why not have two strings on each side of the piece and have them connect higher on your face (like on top of your nose)? Imagine an upside down "Y". It would still be in front of your face, but least your mouth and nose would be free! Regardless, great work as always and good luck for the remaining work, Odin! :)

Another tip for the jaw, you can have a Y strap lock system so that the cords are to the sides of your chin plate, instead of in your face directly that will annoy you, seeing this idea though, is actually perfect, cause I can use it for other designs!
@khklay3 жыл бұрын
That is so trippy and cool.

Super nice !!! TThe happiness you show in this video is contagious, I smiled almost all the vid'. Awesome thing to see you this happy.
@danielbickford34583 жыл бұрын
If you don't mind a suggestion, my I suggest that you cut the cord coming down to your face short splice in a pair of cords or a single cord folded / tied into AV to the two straps would then bracket your face before heading to the chin cup. I'm unsure exactly how well this would work but it would keep the cable off the middle of your face.
@grassh0pperunit3 жыл бұрын
The lower neck part and upper torso would make a good Ram-Man costume.

I have a doubt: it will be necessary to choose between being able to turn the head on 360° or being able to move the jaw because otherwise the cable will twist.
