High court should order to DGP Odisha 1) To install CCTV cameras in each and every police station of Odisha and there should be monthly inspection by higher officials to ensure whether the CCTV are working 24x7 or not. 2)To give periodical training to lower level police officials ( Upto IIC level) how to behave the common man who goes to the police station to lodge a complain.The police station should immediately offer a seat or seats and a glass of water to the complainant and listen his/her complain calm and quitely with patience. 3) There should be periodical checking by the higher officials of police department to ensure the proper behaviour to common law abiding citizens who are coming to police station to lodge a complain. 4) Higher police officials should give training to lower level police officials to follow PRO- ACTIVE policing strongly. 5) Severe punishment should be given to the police officials of lower level who is violating the above. Then only lower level police officials ( Constable,ASI,IIC etc.) will work and behave properly. and police will be considered as people friendly.
