Wow Simon, that intro was magic!. Cool to see your footage from Hardanger, I have had in mind to visit Hardanger during the cider/apple harvesting fest time. That glacier trekking looks awesome as well, the roads and landscape just frames this so nice. I definitely wan't to explore the area! We also have a inflatable kayak, I paddle that tandem kayak solo from Geiranger to the waterfall Syv Søstrer in the Geiranger Fjord, a cool paddle! What does Truck Norris say about You escaping for cool clamping days... 👀🙈😂🙌❤️🇳🇴
@SimonBraeck2 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mattias:) Maybe this can serve as a initial plan and then let your next trip to Hardanger develop as it goes, this area is really magical during the apple season (and also earlier when the trees bloom ofc!). Wow, way to go paddling all the way out to De Syv Søstre, must have been a great experience. Norris is not too happy, haha😁
@Braapncamp2 жыл бұрын
@@SimonBraeck It was a rather work out to paddle solo with that kayak, especially at the way back and crossing the waves and avoiding the ferrys 😂. I can imagine the blooming season, We have the apple tree regions (cider or äppelmust) in Eastern Skåne and East side of lake Vättern. I have tasted cider from Hardanger and it is really great!

Must have been quite the struggle😄 I bet you apple regions are great too. We are visiting Sweden late August this year, but it might be too early for the apple season over there

My uncle and aunt came from Lofthus where you visited the sauna. Mum came from Odda so I'm very familiar with the area although I have lived in the south all my life. My favorite time in Hardanger is in late May and June when it is hot but still snow on the mountains. The apple blossom is a sight to see.

Hi Simon, I just got back from Norway a couple weeks ago, and I bumped into your videos in KZbin. Frankly, I have been obsessed with Norway, and I want to go to Lofoten islands next. I love your van life video, (and yes it is my most favorite one 😊). I have watched every episode you have on Norway. Quick questions for you, I’m a solo female traveler from US. I never drive and am not familiar with a van life. It seems Lofoten is best to be explored by car, do you think it’s doable to do the vanlife thing alone? I’m honestly contemplating to rent a van and go by myself and sleep in a camp like you and Benedicta, but there’s always a concern if the van break down and me not knowing what to do since I’m alone. Thanks again for all the videos, you are a talented story teller, every time I watched your video, it helps me to escape to my own holiday in Norway. Please keep doing what you’re doing.😊

If you have another engine problems, consider the Subaru engine swap as an option, please! I understand completely how much you love the VW culture, but show must go on flawlessly. The old VW technology is extremely weak and problematic due to 1980's engineering. Otherwise, you guys are highly talented making the videos on KZbin.
