Congratulations on your first proper off-road adventure! Keep practicing and have faith in your Himalayan's abilities. Once you have mastered the techniques you'll be amazed where this bike can get you. Where I live there are plenty of routes with 1:10 inclines and several that are steeper than 1:4. I don't know why but I always find going downhill waaaay scarier than going uphill because the Himalayan handles the terrain with ease and feels very sure footed.

Awesome episode - next level production quality. The route looked great, and some good riding partners, and top drops. Know the struggle with those tyres on the Himi though - would you consider changing to a profile with a bit more grip? Also, you call that single track, I definitely call that a footpath!

Gerald Prost That’s one of the reasons for getting a Himalayan.. I wanted to practice off road on a heavy bike I didn’t mind dropping! There is a person in the group with an Africa Twin. It’s easier with support advice and as long as the bike has protection bars it should be ok.

SE Adventure Rider Hi mate, yes the tyres are fine on hardback trails but terrible in the mud! I have fitted a set of TKC80s but not had a chance to try them out yet . Subbed to your channel, nice to see another Himalayan rider! 👍🙌

@2wheelFreak,I had the same problem with the stock tyres. I’ve now changed to TKC80s and it’s a lot better although I don’t think they’ll last as long. Nice jacket, ive got the same, not very waterproof though!
