Love watching you ride the xr150 (cause I have one too) but understand wanting something fun and different to have fun with. Good to see you on the road again. This video was cool, like how you taped getting on the bike and leaving home in the a.m., and leaving from work. That should be one of your trademarks. Cool vibe!

Thanks for watching and I’ll try to include more of those shots going forward! 👍

Get a Honda Monkey or a Honda Grom
@OffRoadRodeo10 ай бұрын
I saw someone near me post a Grom for a good price. Maybe I’ll look into that. I’ve always wanted one to rip around on. But the Monkey is pretty awesome too! Hmmmm, decisions…..

And tacomas are expensiveeeeeee. Love your content. My xr150 is going to be delivered today. Wooo get to learn the art or “clutch and shift” moving from scooter life to this. Really hoping to hit some rural route highways and an occasional gravel road!

True! Way out of my price range anyway! Congrats on the XR150 delivery! Have fun learning and ride safe!!

Love the xr150l content. It’s funny I have a Honda element and I’m looking at getting a xr150. Your channel is helping a lot with my decision. Thanks!

That’s awesome! I’m jealous of your Element. I sure miss mine! If you get the XR150 let me know! Cheers!

You know, any thing you want to ride is fine by me. I gotta admit I did like the look of the scrambler, but I'd also love to see you ride a CRF300LS.
@OffRoadRodeo10 ай бұрын
It’s funny you should say that because I’ve been drooling over the CRF300’s for a while now!

Ridgelines are fine man. That’s gonna be my next car purchase. They are great for hauling smaller motorcycles, camping, etc.

I cracked up over your first few words about your Ridgeline! I’m not going to make fun of your “truck”. I have a buddy who bought one, and he has caught so much he!! from everyone. But the fact that it’s a Honda, is all that matters. They are reliable, and smooth riding. That’s one difference in a full chassis and a unibody. Unibody’s ride smoother. The biggest difference in having a truck without a frame is you’re limited in towing capacity. But until you get rich, and need to pull a big double/triple axel trailer to haul all your toys around on, your Ridgeline will treat you well. The Element was a surprisingly capable vehicle. If you took the mirrors off your XR, it would probably fit inside. It was also very reliable. My aunt had one, and someone plowed into it, and totaled it. She was so upset. She said it was the best car she ever owned. She tried to find a replacement, but she wasn’t willing to drive across the entire country to get one. I told her she needed a Ridgeline. She could put a matching camper shell over the bed and have something close to what she had. She bought a Subaru Outback instead, and she hates it. Have you ever seen Ginger Billy’s video on the Ridgeline vs Ford Chevy and Dodge? Lol! It’s titled something to that effect. That dude is a character.... I’m looking to get an XR150. What handlebars did you get? Are you going to put hand guards on it? What about a windshield? Any recommendations for one? I’m spoiled from riding my 300 Rally. I don’t want to ride without a windshield anymore. Lol... The 150 is going to be primarily my “friend bike”, but I’m sure I’ll be riding more than anyone else. So I’m excited to have something to modify. I’ve already done everything to my Rally, so I’m looking forward to getting the 150. Also, do you have any recommendations for tires? I need good traction! Handlebars, hand guards, a Skid plate, tires, and a windshield., That should be a good start. I use to have a CB350! Mine was green. I’ve had a lot of bikes/atv’s. I got my very first bike at 9 years old, it was a 1976 Honda MR50, Elsinore. I will be very surprised if you have ever seen one, much less know what it is. I only say that because Honda didn’t make too many of them. Another bike I had, and one that would be epic for you to get for your channel is the Honda Elsinore 125, the dual sport or enduro version. Honda made it in a dirt bike version as well as a dual sport. But it’s probably too old to find a decent Elsinore fixer upper anymore. But if you could, I think you would love it. It would be so rewarding to restore. Im always interested in watching any older dual sport, or street legal trail bike content. Woodsman Adventure just did a series on a 1987 XL250, which is another bike that I once owned. He had found one that was in mint condition. It was awesome.

Hey if you don't mind my asking, which ProTaper bars did you switch to, and did it make a difference? I'm 6 feet tall so thinking to switch bars when I add some risers to make it more comfortable when standing.

I got the ProTaper 7/8” CR Hi bars and 30mm Kemimoto risers and it feels awesome!

@@OffRoadRodeo Hey thanks! I appreciate that, was thinking to get some 22mm risers but I'll look at getting the 30mm instead!
