Hey you’re in my neighborhood. I have driven most of the roads in that area. One of the best things about living here is being able to go into the mountains or out into the desert if I want wide open nothingness. It’s real dusty because up until this week we haven’t had any rain for months. Set the AC on recirculate to keep the dust out without plugging up the cabin air filter.

My guess is that Nissan just wanted to make sure the journalists were driving 4 wheel drive, otherwise some may not have switched over at the appropriate time and gotten themselves stuck, which would look very bad for Nissan. for the amount of increased horse power and torque! my 2003 frontier had way less power than my 2006 pathfinder (same drive train as frontier) but relatively the same gas mileage.
