So yes, firemans as much as you can. Master a few shots, drill them 24/7, master 2 stand ups and not getting turned, and learn how to ride on top.

i’m 175 and the strongest in the team. so i had to go against our state qual 215. my first year is now over. i got all the way to regionals with the hardest region in the state and hardest district too. it’s my first off season and i’m trying my hardest to figure out how to do this right bc at the beginning of wrestling season. i thought i was in shape. but oh lord was i wrong 😭

@Stewhoney4 жыл бұрын
If you don’t know when to attack then it doesn’t matter what you do you’ll just lose. If you’re a defensive wrestler you will lose. Being defensive means you’re reacting to his offense, your reaction will never be faster than his action. He has to act for you to react, the reason Jordan Burroughs has such a good double leg is because he’s offensive. He doesn’t wait for other people he chases them knows when to attack and where to attack and then when he sees the green light he takes it. Being defensive will never let you win at any level. To win you need to have offense

Isaiah Lee Yes different perspectives will allow you to incorporate different styles into your game that will benefit you. We live in an time where everyone on the collegiate level has a similar dynamic style so even having a slight differential style will change up your game so much.

Great video🔥. But i Wanted To ask you. I have been working like 100 hours with my buddy in wrestling. I noted after some times it become difficult to success on the takedown. Is it because he used to work a lot with me and knows the movement pretty good? Btw him also has difficulties to success. I know it is better to train in a club but where we live there is no wrestling knowledges and zero club in wrestling

What do u guys think of wrestling camps in the summer time? Do you think I should save my money instead and invest it in privetes 2 to 3x a week besides his wrestling practice? He is also lifting 3 to 4x a week with a private coach. my son is 160lbs a senior and wrestles for Clovis north.
