Been here for the best part of 16 years, I am still excited to see Monitor lizards and Monkeys.

I’ve only been here for about 3 weeks and I’m over the moon to see them lol

We have many species of monkeys. @5:00 these are the macaques. Don't get too close to them and certainly don't look at them directly in the eyes. Be extra cautious the one with the baby.

Yeah, I found out at the end when one came for me!!!! Scary things

13:09 Those silver langurs and cheeky ginger baby langurs :D They're not afraid of people despite being wild and free. Unlike the ones at Batu Caves.
@olderbackpacker11 күн бұрын
They are so chilled, unless you have food in your hands!!! Lol

Hi OlderBackpacker. If you have no plan whatsoever, just travel slowly to the North. Go through Batu Gajah (Kellie's Castle), Selama (beautiful nature you won't regret), Pangkor Island (island paradise), Ipoh (amazing city), Kuala Kangsar (small town with one of the most beautiful mosque in the world) and Taiping (gorgeous and oldest lake garden). Hakuna Matata. Just keep smiling. You'll be alright.

There’s a few place on your list that’s on my head already :)

Can clearly see the difference temperament between the monkeys: the langur: chill n non aggressive, the macaque: aggressive n territorial. You really visited places most tourists don't know; Mersing, Kluang, Batu Pahat, Kuala Selangor etc keep it up 👍

Very interesting and spectacular place. Not many locals know this hidden place.Lack of promotion. These monkeys are rare species.Its about human size and well behave. Thank you sir for discovering this place.

Many who visit kl don't explore much of selangor state, but if you dig into history, melaka isn't the only place with portuguese and dutch history. Kuala kedah and pangkor island also has remains of that and most of perak and penang have french missionaries history. Do visit the Penang diocese museum to find out more :) The national museum might also help a lot (it's in Kl though)

I thought that the history of KS was amazing! Really well laid out and I still feel I didn’t see everything!

@@olderbackpacker Kuala selangor has some history connected with Klang - which was a substantial town in the development of other towns in selangor like kuala kubu baru, rawang, subang jaya and petaling jaya. One such for sir frank swettenham - who founded port swettenham or now known as Port Klang - the main sea port for KL.

@@olderbackpacker I do go kuala selangor yearly for some fresh seafood, otherwise I'd go sekinchan - both are along the same main road. Sadly those areas really need more public transport :) Really glad you enjoyed Kuala Selangor - you can but some prawn crackers near the new town area which are made locally.

Unfortunately I have to do them the day before otherwise they’re no out until late, like for the last 3 days, due to WiFi problems and tech issues, I’ve had to do them on the day and they’ve not been out until 10:30 at night :/
