I feel like this topic pops up every other video now. The short answer is, people are always going to have racial and physical preferences. There is 8 billion people the world, everyone isn't going to think the same. Some people care about race in their dating life, some don't, it is what it is.

There were not any middle eastern looking guys in my elementary, middle school, or high school. Yet, in college I saw a middle eastern guy with a beard, big eyes, thick eyelashes and eyebrows, light brown skin and luscious hair AND I almost went into a cartoon dazed coma; my heart and eyes probably bulged out too. 😂 So, yes one can have a preference, but that doesn't mean that you will end up with a person with those ethnic features. 😂

Dating apps should not be taken seriously. I have no clue why so many people use up their time and lives with them, other than a dopamine fix, which is dumb. The book "The Dating App Confessions" by Logan Tindell has some funny stories and tips about those apps.

Me watching from different country. The data you all saying is Americans dating American i don't think it's something out of ordinary. Here in the Philippines base of what i know the couple who gets noticed or out ordinary for us are the couple who dates a person literally from outside the country and travelled just to be together. Not a foreign blood who is raised and grew up a filipino and every he/she does is all filipino, no one cares who that dates. Bc it's still a filipino to Filipino it's ordinary.

I've traveled to many countries. 99.9% of the time you see white dudes dating the locals. They have a very high success rate in foreign countries. It's considered "Status" being in a relationship with a white dude for women. I was once married with a Filipina and even her and all her friends only sought out to date foreign men, mostly white. They would even marry disabled white dudes instead of being in a relationship with other Asian men.

I dont look at race at all. i dont care if someone else does prefer a certain race BUT i've noticed that the friends that DO have a racial preference are coming from a weird place..i have two friends that prefer a certain race and both of them like it because they feel superior. That shit sometimes makes me think all people with race prefeces have weird motives because the only reallife examples i've seen are like that.

Now comparing to men and women ratio, it’s more diverse now. Asian American men used to not date outside their race, but now statistics are showing that there are almost an equal amount of asian men and Asian women dating outside their race in 2023. It’s a bit more balanced now, which is great.

i’m half white and half hispanic, and i never really felt like i had a “default” race to date. always get different from full white or hispanic people in a way. but in my dating experience i seem to attract more black, hispanic, and asian women than white which i think is interesting

I have two kids( adults now) by a white man, but I didn't prefer white men for years, after him, I dated outside my race for YEARS, I even married outside my race. Now that I'm older than dirt my preference doesn't have anything to do with race but it has to do with how a person treats me, respect, loyality, being kind, being capable to stand on their own and be a boss. Someone who has empathy, and is just a great person at the end of the day. Also just love who you love, I don't really care. Totally true what Kalyne said, the black guys sought me out and preferred white or italian girls in my area I lived and black women.
