Kalyen literally vocalized everything that’s been in my head over the past year of me dating. A lot of jaded people out there and having these avoidant behaviors the moment things start to become serious if you’re even lucky enough to get to that point with someone.

Been with my partner for 13 years (met when we were 16 and 17) and ive told him "we better stay together because i cant imagine doing this all over again id rather just stay single. Plus it seems more harsher and harder to get into relationships now" He agrees with me and luckily we have had wonderful years together. Planning on getting married next year and starting a family :) We met on Facebook back in the day and we thought THAT was risky and hard .. god help people nowa days. Ive always been old school mentality in my want for a relationship and my ex friends hated that about me. They wanted me to sleep around and get drunk and be reckless when all ive ever wanted to do is personally be a wife and mother since i was young. Apparently that is a red flag to people in my life but im happy and it gives me so much joy and makes me feel fulfilled. Everything is so harsh and political and sensitive nowa days im not surprised people have given up on trying. Just sucks because id love if everyone could find love and their one.. its a wonderful feeling.

Ya i agree.. must be a good feeling having that stability and a person who you know will love and cherish you throughout your lives.. i thought i had that and spent 10 years with her then out of left field she leaves a note under my windshield wiper saying shes movibg across the country and goodbye. Then i find out she was fuggin a bunch of my friends, or people i thought were my friends.. then apparently one of those guys was abusive which i found out after the fact when she came back to my place randomly crying saying she was afraid.. so i had to kick her out on her own to deal with her own bs.. stuff hurt.. she stayed around town a year until she left to move.. i found out that after fuggin 4 of my buddies within the span of a year she found another guy where she moved to and married him within a few months of knowing him.. which she immediately filed for divorce and took all his stuff. Then remarried who she is with now.. meanwhile it took years for me to get over that crap mindgame stuff she put me through.. now since i gave her all my good years im too old to get back out there and too much work to find somebody then gettibg to know eachother.. so i plan on dying a sad lonely man.. you put all your shits in one basket then that basket turns out to have a damn hole in it then you screw yourself.. now i have no basket or any shits to give it.. fml.. we were stable, fugged every night, went out and had some good times, she didnt have to work, had a big house and the whole kit but out of nowhere she just left.. one day ik content and the next im broken and done..

In your opinion, was it harder for those friends that just wanted fun to settle down or did they ever settle? Did they have to deal with the consequences?
@GeekyC
@GeekyC 10 ай бұрын
@@VanessaKira-wi6jo Yes it was .. some of my ex friends are now onto their second marriages. Others have children with 2-3 different people and are single. Some of them never met anyone and have no partner or kids and are always claiming to be down about that but set impossible standards to be met. They are always shocked when they see me years later and im still with my partner. I feel bad for them but im also glad i didnt go down that path and im much happier with myself and my relationship. Im glad i never went out clubbing or hooking up with random people as for me personally that makes me feel gross and unwanted and used ive always just wanted to be with someone i love and be intermit that way which was always laughed at by these friends. They dont seem very happy and blame the world for their problems without realising maybe they should look inwards and realise maybe the path they chose to live is the issue. Some of them still have the mindset we had as kids despite having their own kids now. I wish them well and hope for the best for them because it must be a horrible to live like that. Quite a few are on anti depressants and alcoholics as well but i understand myself what its like to be on medication for mental health .. some of theirs is because of their situations they told me. So yeah their actions had some consequences.

The problem is people are suffering from grass is greener mentality and have been brainwashed since childhood to believe the person who they are with need to be perfect in every way. I’ve seen people throw away relationships because they don’t look perfect, I’ve had friends say oh she’s not a 10 so I can’t date her. Too many people don’t know how to compromise and ignore all the important things such as the person and how they treat you and if they’re an actual good human. I think more people need to be aware that relationships are risks because you could get hurt but also people need to start dating with intention again. People need to realise love is a feeling that comes and goes and the way to make the relationship last is to realise do I like this person enough to stay with them even if everything comes crumbling down. Stop dating off of lust

From a guys perspective it just doesnt seem worth it anymore. Its a headache. The social climate has created a vibe where youre putting all this work in to get eye rolled or disparaged. Dates arent "fun" anymore half the time. Women have created all these conflicting expectations and its left a lot of guys kinda baffled where there nobody can work out what the right way to date is because one girl will call you a dickhead for the same thing that another girl thinks is respectful. Its shitty to say but people being so desperate to get rid of gender roles means nobody knows how to interact with eachother anymore and that goes for both men and women. Kalyne also makes some solid points. It just doesnt seem worth it anymore. I've found myself passing on girls that might be great but the wall has built up now and it just feels like its gonna be a waste of time. I take things super slow now so I can be sure and a lot of girls cant understand that Im just being careful. So many just want to rush into things heavy and they think if you arent desperately pursuing them it means youre wasting their time

And I will say straight up, considering the bashing Kalyne was getting from other women on the video they did about "is the movie business wrecked?" If you try to claim again that she is "making disparaging comments about women", you best keep in mind that Ryan has also told a story before about how when he and his friends would go out to dinner together, a group of women would show up at their table uninvited. The women would be dolled up, and invite themselves to their table in order to get a "free meal". The women didn't ask if they could sit with them and they had no intention of covering their share of the check. When the women were called out for it after they tried that one too many times, the women started whining because they didn't have the funds on them to cover their share of the tab, figuring they could use their looks and flirty behavior to get the guys at the table to cover their meals. So yes, it does happen.

And if someone gets to the door before either of us and they hold the door for us, then we just politely say thank you to them. It is not a matter of "needing someone to open the door for us or not" nor should it be. It is simply common courtesy.

I think it comes down to so many factors these days. You had a generation of parents that didn't know how to navigate the tech rise, the internet came along and changed everything, people don't focus on themselves before finding someone, capitalism mentally f'ing us for their own gain, and even culture. Dating in America is even different to here is Aus. Even I fell into the traps and still do. Focus on yourself, hold yourself to the standard that you're looking for, and don't get caught up society, you'll find the right one. As someone who is studying mental health, I think we could societally talk about things more without blame, and actually fix the problem, things will get better. Yes, people need to face justice and have what's coming to them, but focusing on bettering ourselves is infinity more productive.

Lol im that 34 year old letting bishes down. I honestly dont look because of time. Theres so many things to do in this world that a broken heart makes you waste so much time waiting for it to heal. And it might sound corny, but when youre going through it, it fucking sucks and you cant do things right. Its all in the logic, the less partners you have, the less potential heartbreaks, thus less stress, thus a longer lifespan, thus more time to enjoy this planet. take care of your heart kiddos, your old self will thank you later.

I don't date either anymore not cause there bad cause I relies its better being single I can travel when ever I can and I can quite my job and be well free. Dating isn't freedom it can be. But not owes cause it's a responsibility maybe at first it's fun but after 3 months they have there family and there problem and same go with me. People might be a good people, but that doesn't mean there good at dating. And I been practicing both Christianity and Buddhism here and there and honestly. Considering divorce rates are up in the 70% and are initiated by women, it's not even worth it for men to date and even marry. It's much a bigger problem than a lot of people think. Nobody believes "for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer... in sickness and in health until death do us part" anymore. Especially women. When things gets tough, they're the first ones to leave. Been there and seen it plenty of times in my lifetime. Not to mention the court favors women over men. Men have more to lose than women. The older I get, the more I realize how important faith is. Especially if you're a Christian. Faith goes a long way. People nowadays absolutely have no idea what the definition of love is. The key to any relationship is forgiveness. If you say you love someone, and you can't forgive them, you do not love them at all. The Bible defines what true love is suppose to be. And people wonder why men takes the red pills nowadays. Stay single men. Trust me. It'll save you a ton of headaches. (Unless you truly find someone worthy of loving.)

I blame the red pill movement for dude’s lacking the effort in dating. I think a lot of dudes got their egos fucking INFLATED by these male superiority arguments and feel as though it’s a waste of time to put time and effort into courting a woman. But also what K said about girls using dudes for free meals is REAL.
@TheRedemptionRain
@TheRedemptionRain 10 ай бұрын
Brah how does red pill inflate their egos? The red pill is a place where dudes go to when they’ve been consistently hurt. If anything maybe women have an inflated ego thanks to social media and the amount of options they have. I legit believe our grandfathers generation had it easier thanks to couples meeting in small towns with less competition since the internet didn’t exist.
@artheals8869
@artheals8869 10 ай бұрын
@@TheRedemptionRain Yes, dudes egos have been super inflated by red pill talk, because they have reduced women into objects that should serve them, rather than seeing them as human beings in which they should be creating an equitable union with. I notice a lot of red pill dudes tell women to take accountability whilst completely shedding any sort of accountability from themselves. See, those dudes focus on the loud minority of women who are instagram models and only care about clout and making money, when there are COUNTLESS women out there who have values that would more align with what a lot of these men want but they focus on that group. If a woman says she wants a man to provide for her and also wants her own independence and wants her man to be loyal and you think that’s ridiculous, fine don’t deal with her, just like a woman should sprint in the other direction if a man says she needs to be loyal but he can have as many women as he wants. It’s two sides of the same coin. Men and women pointing fingers at each other like the Spider-Man meme. Back in the day, women also had no power and now they have the freedom to express how they want, and if you don’t want your girl to express in a certain way you can have that conversation or choose someone else (which is also exposing the contradictory nature of red pill men when they only speak to the women who portray themselves in a certain light that goes to prove their belief system).
