Something that just occured me watching your reaction... At that scene on the hallway, when Caitlin said that she also understood it, and Vi replied "You didn't think at all", my first reaction also was "yes, she does", but now, rewatching it, I'm seeing a brutal not-that-tiny detail about Vi's presence to the funeral: yes, they both saw their parents being killed by "the other side" - but Cassandra got a top tier funeral, a memorial and the whole topside mourning her death, while Vi had to leave her parents bodies lying lifeless on a bridge to be picked up by cleaner the next day. You know? She says to Vander, in first season, about growing up knowing that her life meant less, and I cannot see Cassandra's funeral not poking this wound somehow. And this says about Caitlin's "ingenuity" a little bit... She always thinks she understands things, and she keeps being proved otherwise, again and again. And in this case particularly, when it comes to Vi's trauma, I really don't think Cait's understanding can even begin to grasp the surface of it...

I can see why this season took 3 years to make! Not only is the writing and voice acting top tier, but the animation is mind-blowing. You could pause at any frame of this show, and it looks like it should be shown at the Louvre. Especially the funeral scene for Caitlyn’s mother. Also, her going through the cycle of grief from that is so heartbreaking.

just to clarify, particularly to those that does not play the game, that wolf in a cave has 2 heads, they are in game as one of the jungle camps, in this scene you can't see the body so people may think it was 2 wolfs there

16:23 I pretty much figured he was an Enforcer the moment I saw what he was wearing. He does look like Vander, it was the first thing I thought. Aside from the champions, I fear Caitlyn's strike team members are Mauve Shirts. They survived this episode, and probably the next, but some will likely die by the end of the season. The show hasn't shied from killing the non-champions.

I like the figure Maddie Nolan. I'm not one of those who demand more background story for her (not that it would be nice anyway). Her design is very cute and I love her mini ponytail the animators given her. The voice actor is Katy Townsend, a Scottish actress which fits very well 😊

To be fair Officer Vi is not actually a canon skin it's just part of the "Cops and Robbers" skin universe (like Constable Trundle, and other police and robber/thief related skins) It is an older skin that was made before they started making canon skins (If I remember correctly Freljord Sylas was the first canon skin since the lore merge) Vi herself in game has always been a Piltover enforcer just with her default skin though. Still accurate to what you said mostly, just wanted to add clarification on the Officer Vi skin lol

Potential Spoiler Warning for anyone who doesn't know League Of Legends lore ... Mel's wearing armour. I watched a video yesterday and the person pointed out what we all missed about the motif (pattern/design) of what Mel wears, lots of sun shaped gold, it's Solari armour (magic armour from Targon). 3 years since season 1, and I never stopped to think about that. 🤦‍♀️ Btw, if you're interested in League's other well-known sapphic couple, look up who Leona and Diana are.
