This chenge is horrible i need that damn 2500 vbucks I always get by buying these crew packs and grinding for the battle pass. i dont want to buy these ugly ahh crew pack skins that they put no creativity on, If i dont cancel my subscription, it means i have to be subscribed for the entire season with the bonus reward to fully complete the battle pass and and for yall that say just reach level 200 then buy and cancel the crew pack it dosent even work like that They can just make the crew pack more expensive or make a premium section for these so we don't lose awards. I don't wanna lose the Battle Pass uncompleted And no, buying the battle pass separately is cringe because with the crew pack, you can get 2500 vbucks for 11.99$ if you grind the battle pass and can get any 1500 skin, and please don't try to disagree on me because you think that's not "honorable way" because that's the point of crew packs you get extra stuff for grinding and playing the game

Adding onto that, you get to complete all of them just by levelling up. If you don’t buy the Fortnite crew, buying all of the passes is quite expensive, and obviously you don’t get extra Vbucks.

This overall seems like a good change, except for the fact that if you buy a battle pass and then subscribe to crew within 14 days you’ll get a refund but, claiming premium rewards will work like playing games you bought with an Xbox game pass subscription (can only play games you bought with game pass while you have an active subscription). I’ll try to make sure to avoid doing that so I can claim my battle pass rewards whenever I want during a season since I personally don’t think getting a refund is worth needing an active subscription to claim battle pass items. This is very similar to the reason I bought the game Doom Eternal without Xbox game pass.

Recap... - The Fortnite Crew pass WILL stay the same price as before ($11.99) and keep all of its current benefits. - The Lego Pass, Music Pass, and any other new pass like the upcoming OG Pass will be included with the subscription at no additional cost. - If you unlocked any pass with Fortnite Crew, you will only be able to claim the locked rewards while you have an active crew membership. Which means you only "own" the passes as long as you are subscribed to Fortnite crew. - As far as I can tell, if you cancel your subscription, you will keep the rewards that you claimed before the cancelation.

What I find annoying is that they will take away the normal battle pass if you cancel your subscription. Like what if I wanted to buy crew because I liked the og pass and the battle pass and the music pass, but I only want it for one month? It’s absurd that I already spent $12 buying the battle pass just to shovel out another $10 halfway through. It’s basically paying double. I understand where they are coming from, especially with the new passes, but I think they should make this change but keep the regular battle pass in the same system right now.

However, it is not yet confirmed how much it will cost and how much you will make back from it. I’ll take a guess and say that it’ll cost less than a normal battle pass (each season of OG will last a month so it will be shorter and therefore cheaper). The OG pass will not be exclusive to crew members.

They are because I never got crew two months in a row, it was worthless you only got 1000 vbucks because the skins were granted on the first of the month throughout the whole month, so if you subbed on the 25th you had crew till next month, got that skin and pack, 1000 vbucks (+ pass or vbucks if you already had it) and next months skin too.

The reason epic is making this change tot he crew pass is because it’s now going to be a loss for them because they’re giving you more stuff for the same price, so they want to encourage those who may have only bought the crew pass once in awhile to have an active membership in it. If Fortnite didn’t take this route we’d probably have to pay $15+ for the new things they’ve added. There is not much of a reason to complain when them changing the way it works if far better than if they had increased the price.

They are also not that useful after you complete all of the passes other than extra skins. So if anything, you could just use the extra 1K v-buck to buy the BP to keep it up way longer.

The 50 vbuck changes they are making makes sense. Now the battle pass will be the exact amount in a 1000 vbuck card/bundle. Before you ended up with an extra 50 vbucks and no place to spend it unless you bought a level or used that 50 towards the 25 level pack. Also for those that use to buy the pass and the 25 level pack it turns out being the exact same price because all you did was buy the 2800 vbuck card/bundle and use the total amount, same as new version.

Just level up to 200 and wait till the bonus rewards and other challenge rewards then buy the battle pass then get crew you'll get 1k vbucks plus the other passes this way you get everything with $12

That's the thing. This is a great change for those who keep their crew subscription active (especially if they usually buy the music/lego pass), but way worse for those who buy crew just once every season. Epic made this change because they want players to stay subscribed the whole year.

Extremely excited for the OG passes and the combination, I’m just thinking about the time locked rewards so it mandates the fact that you have to stay subscribed for all of them. So that mandates almost 3 months of subscription to get everything potentially. (Secret skin, weekly quest rewards, etc.)
