Jon Brant on bass. This is good video. I actually met Cheap Trick in 1996 at a small club. They were very personable and autographed a photo. This cost a heck of alot money to meet and greets these days. I consider myself fortunate.

Yep. When they lost a massive lawsuit with their label over royalties, where they were actually in the right, but labels can get an army of attorneys and we know how that goes. Part of the deal after they lost, so as not to pay out millions of dollar's, the band signed a horrible contract. They received little to no promotion, songs that they didn't like or weren't finished, were put on albums. They even spelled Rick Neilsen's name wrong on the back of one album, Rick Nelson. This band went from being on the cusp of playing stadiums in 1980 to playing county fairs in 86...that's how bad they lost that lawsuit. They were purposely being crushed and humiliated and put into debt with albums that weren't selling, because there was no promotion and they had next to no creative control. The music industry is a very bad business.
