“He seems to have so many different voices”… You hit it EXACTLY right! Another reactor said that “Freddie could sing 20 different songs and sound like 20 different people!” In his tribute to Elvis Presley “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”, he sings part of it sounding like Elvis. He wrote a tribute to John Lennon “Life Is Real”… the way he sings it sounds completely Lennon-esque. In addition to having a four octave vocal range, a vibrato faster than Pavarotti’s, and the rare ability to create something called “subharmonics” with his throat, Freddie was also a vocal chameleon. When he wrote/recorded his non-Queen operatic album - Barcelona - with Spanish operatic soprano Montserrat Caballé, he also sang with her in an operatic style… sometimes in a baritone instead of his usual tenor. (There is also a demo from that album: “EXERCISES IN FREE LOVE” …where Freddie sings the entire piece in Montserrat’s SOPRANO range.😳) …Also in a baritone, is the Queen song/music video: “I’M GOING SLIGHTLY MAD” …And to hear Freddie’s FALSETTO: Listen to: “COOL CAT” “SOUL BROTHER” Or watch the live segments called: “IMPROMPTU” at 1986 Wembley and/or the live segment: “ROCK IN RIO BLUES” at the 1985 Rock In Rio music festival.🖖

Queen was groundbreaking in everything they did. Musically Queen songs are so different ,the band was different. People sometimes say what genre does Queen fit into. Queen is queen and they can do it all. They were just too good. R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU

Please react to Love of my Life Live performance in Rio Brasil with over 300,000-500,000 people in attendance! Freddie said that concert changed their lives. They were in awe seeing Brazilians know their songs to perfection in English.

Consider reacting to anything from Wembley 86. The whole concert was phenomenal. This would be the last tour of the band as Freddie was already baving health problems, and was diagnosed in Spring of 87 with AIDS. But, Freddie looked fantastic in this concert and the whole band gave it everything thry had. Some if my favorites are Tie Your Mother Down...Lap Of The Gods...the live BoRhap performance was amazing. Another One Bites The Dust was great here. In case you didn't know John Deacon the bassist wrote that song, and was their only number one single. He also collaborated with Under Pressure which came from a jam session with Queen and David Bowie. John write that famous riff for UP which later Vanilla Ice stole snd ysed on Ice Ice Baby. Queen and Bowie promptly sued him for copyright infringment, and won. Vanilla had to give them writing credits for the sample. Another excellent Wembley sing to react too👍👑🎤🥁🎸🎹

If this song doesn't bring a smile to your face and make you feel good, you must be missing a major emotional chip. I love this song it is such a mood elevator for me and my go-to whenever I am in a funk and want/need to get out of it. This song has been used in movies and commercials so it is possible that you have heard parts of it in those places. All four members of Queen are songwriters and each have different tastes and styles in music so Queen delivers many different sounds and Freddie adapts to each of them. I think he loved the challenge though he was always poking fun at Brian for writing songs that stretched his vocal range and Brian was always poking fun at Freddie for writing songs that weren't meant to be played on guitar. They challenged each other and they were the most prolific of the songwriters in the band so they both had to adapt and grow. As you take the Queen journey you really do notice not only how they matured as a band but also how they never shied away from any style of music. I think every member of this band genuinely loved music. Thank you for your reaction.

Great reaction! This song was scientifically proven to be the happiest song. Not so much for Brian, Roger and John at the time. They were worried about Freddie and his lifestyle at the time so they weren’t a big fan of this. With hindsight and time Brian now feels differently.

I was just going to say this 😂You should hear him do opera! Scientists have done a study on his voice and concluded that no human could do what he does with his voice. Even Pavarotti couldn’t come close.

How good of Brian to change his mind about this song (sarcasm!).....more than a hint of jealousy from Brian (my opinion).....because Freddie had it all...magnificent voice....looks....charm.....composer and lyricist.....adorably funny.....who should be recognised as a modern genius....when asked to describe Freddie, his friend Wayne Sleep said that “Freddie was an event”...a brilliant description....there will never be another like him, ever🤩❤️

Researchers made a study and found that Don't Stop me Now is one of the songs the literally most improves people's moods and levels of happiness/wellness. RIP FREDDIE MERCURY THE LEGEND. Queen is the only group whose each band member wrote multiple #1 hits each. Freddie, Bryan May (guitar), Deacon (base), and Taylor (drumbs). Each of them were musical geniuses.

Not forgetting the rest of the band of course so very talented! A lot of Queens songs are in movies, though I don’t know which one this is in. Freddie’s voice was out of this world. He could do anything with it, in any style, even opera…he made an album with Montserra Caballe’ in the late 80s, before his passing. They (Queen) all had different musical interests, and their songs were well diversified. And Freddie could sing them all, with emotion and feeling, adding his signature voice acrobatics to all of them. 21 years as a band…you’ll see a lot of Freddie styles, lol. They all changed over the years, except it seems Brian May…he still has that curly mass of hair, only gray. Anyway, I love Queen, so thank you for reacting. (I won’t add to your list of requests…I’ll just watch them as they come. You’re going to get a lot more, I’m sure. ^_^)

This song is Freddie's anthem of hedonism, he loved the life, he lived his life to the fullest. Queen was the most diverse band, they created their own genre, mixing vibes, styles and genres from the 1920s vaudeville to rock, gospel, jazz, pop and many others.

I loved your remarks about Freddie being able to change his voice to suit the song. Here's three extrreme examples. 1: Stone Cold Crazy, live at the Rainbow, 1974. 2: Barcelona, with Montserrat Caballe, live at La Nit, 1988 and 3: Cool Cat from the Hot Space album, 1980. I've subscribed, excited to hear what you have to say about the Live Aid performance.

Absolutely every song will sound different, as they're all written by different people, Sir Brian will sound different from Roger, and John, they would write together in pairs or separately, it just depended on where they were and what they were doing, some have come from their lives and family, marriages, some such as Bo Rap were three songs Freddie just couldn't finish and put them altogether, but I'd watch Inside The Rhapsody for the full story on that it's much easier than trying to explain, and it was almost called Mongolian Rhapsody

BTW, regarding live performances… Please be aware: Queen STOPPED TOURING LIVE AFTER 1986 (due to Freddie’s health) but, they recorded material for THREE more fantastic albums after that time. This is also good to know because there are some FAKE “live performance edits” of post-1986 Queen songs. (In particular: A FAKE “live” performance video of: “THE SHOW MUST GO ON” …which reactors mistakenly use a lot.) There are also a lot of fantastic (pre-1986) album songs that were never performed live just because they were too intricate/complicated to replicate live, or they were ones that were too hard on Freddie’s throat. (With “Don’t Stop Me Now”, it’s hard to find a good-quality video of a live performance because in the late 1970s, there just doesn’t seem to be a lot of good-quality live footage available, and/or this particular song seems to have been done a lot just partially in medleys. However, you WILL find a whole plethera of really well-done REMASTERED live Queen footage, posted on “unofficial” fan-run channels. As a matter of fact: The very BEST live version of “Don’t Stop Me Now” is in a fan-remastered video of: Queen’s benefit concert at… Hammersmith Odeon in 1979. BUT, it’s only available as part of the full concert video, not separately.😅)

Yeah bro Freddie and Queen were the most diverse group ever! You will see that as time goes on. I would suggest reacting to We Will Rock You and We Are The Champion next. Those are 2 queen anthems you will have heard they play them at football games etc. queen music is universal you will find on more then one occasion I’m sure that you recognise even just a sampling of a song. I recommend those 2 songs next because they are 2 of the songs you’ll hear at Live Aid. Don’t know if it’s possible but you could do those 2 songs as one video because we will rock you is very short and the band use to play them back to back live anyway. Just a suggestion

You mentioned Freddy's ability to sing so many styles well you ain't seen nothing yet. You want to hear him sing part of a song in Japanese try Teo Torriatta, A ballad try Nevermore, something from the 1920s try Seaside Rendezous, or maybe a waltz try Millionaire waltz, then there's My Melancholy Blues,Soul brother for a little soul music, cool cat for jazz, and for in case that wasn't enough Freddy also did a solo album with an Opera singer.
