Just gotta say, the Channing Tatum thing wasn't intended as a backhanded compliment eg "achievable goals" at all. Pretty sure it was intended as "I think you're even hotter than Channing Tatum".
@WistbackaАй бұрын
19:40 I think people should be more appreciative of honest compliments. Because a person saying they like 'some' of your work genuinely likes the work they then do like. And if you, as an artist/actor cant admit that not all of your work were masterpieces, then you live in a really bad bubble. That said, I would definitely have reacted the same way initially - that's just human. But I think they should also have recognized the pure honesty, opposed to all the fan-girling/-boying when people say they love you in everything. Everyone has misteps. For Morgan Freeman it is Dreamcatcher, for Michael Caine it was Jaws 4. No one is perfect.

35:20 The thing with the they/them pronouns is that it's actually proper English grammar and has been for at least a century, likely way longer even. If I told you a story about my English teacher without revealing the sex/gender of my English teacher and you wanted to ask me what my English teacher had told me, what would you say? You'd say: What did _they_ tell you? You'll use they/them intuitively when you don't know the subjects gender and you have used it ever since learning to speak so using they/them as their pronouns is perfectly grammatically correct.
