I'm watching AEW right now and I'm so sick of these backstage segments they're ALL THE SAME AND LAME AND AWKWARD. The only reason people watched this Dynamite was to show support for the Briscoes. Which were a fantastic tribute match and video package. Warner Media Discovery is still a piece of a crap company. This week's Dynamite is back to bad comedy from Leech of Jericho and the return of the Meltzer Circle Jerk Gymnastic Team. Team to see if they can beat the 15-0 streak of not hitting a million in the ratings.

Turning Saraya heel is fine, Tony Storm's a little more questionable. Making either Britt Baker's stooges faces is fine, especially champion Jamie Hayter. Making Britt Baker face is silly, but making her a heel was silly to begin with and she made it work, so MAYBE she'll make another ridiculous change work.

Holy crap aew have made the TNT title so irrelevant it's hot potato. It's back on Samoa. Joe Tony can't book.and the match Joe and Darby just had was such crap Darby with the tack hoodie not able to get it on, and taking forever cutting the canvas. With Tony Schivone bad commentary saying "what an amazing TNT run Darby had"..he was champ for like 4 weeks lmao aew is awful.

The best way to have made that whole Acclaimed/Gunns segment work better would be to tell them all to work the actress playing the doctor... Tell them to start off by doing the "scene" and then go off script and make it seem twice as real as the fake shit, then in editing just cut out all the fake shit, and use cuts of the actress doctor lady looking scared and uncomfortable..

It’s nice to see Cornette & Brian admitting that they were wrong and Tony Khan wasn’t holding the Briscoes back at the advice of the Bucks. Jim Ross has even debunked some of Cornette’s talking points that Jericho is holding everyone down. Is there angles where bigger AEW names get spotlights? Yeah. That’s the same everywhere else too. But that doesn’t mean they’re all trying to go full blown WCW on every new name and squash them. The Bucks put FTR over in their last match, and we’ll see what the final trilogy match looks like.

I’ve now noticed this in several matches. Why do wrestlers do this? I’m sure it’s procedural. Is there a reason for it?
