I don't like Jericho, benoit was twice the wrestler and the talent to me he was a mid card Shawn Michaels yet orange taffy cassidy in the day wouldn't have been allowed to even referee. His gimmick would however been welcome with papa shango and draz and d low brown if I had my way if put orange crush pop and Marko stunt in a ring with Brock lesnar and have brock break both of sunny deez nuts arm that way when Brock puts orange swirl pops hands in his pockets he couldn't remove them ever. Shove Marko stunted growths head into pockets ass and give them a f5 so high that orange juice freezes in the colder hemisphere and when they finally drop a new character is created called the stunted orange peel smoothie.

Can I just say this is one of the things I hate most about AEW? These post-show scrums admitting things are staged outright is so bad, even if we all know it's a work of fiction we don't have Goku and Frieza's voice actors immediately going on air after an episode confirming that no, they are not anime space warriors blowing up planets as collateral to their feud. Just let us get lost in the narrative and if the finish was clearly botched, use it as a way to build towards an angle down the road.

Chris had a bad day at the office. It was a piss poor performance because he's trying to move like he's still 200 pounds. He's done amazing things and will forever be commended for it but not only did I see him fatter than ever but I saw him gassed. If he got back in shape I have no doubt at all that he would be as good as he was ten years ago. Shit show that was.

As much as people like to give out about WWE and Vince's high maintenance, they did a great job of helping Jericho look like he was in peak condition. Now without them, he looks and moves like Giant Gonzalez and it's just so sad. Also I think it shows how mediocre Orange Cassidy is when they ditch his don't talk/wrestle gimmick and actually does both, it's nothing special. Him "play fighting" was to hide his weaknesses and now the audience has seen what he can really do is not much better than an NXT midcarder, he's pretty much done.

For some odd reason people think hris is up there with rock or austin, has he ever got anything but his podcast, no, he's not a star he's just jericho, he always did comedy the last 15 years it's not new. I like comedy and am fine with Orange for that reason. I've consistantly watched every wwe/tna/blah indie show since literally 1985, no time off because "it's not my thing" I didn't rely on "like minded fans" informing me of how wrestling has been I watched all the good and really bad trash over the years. Nothing about this is different so is it a new horrible thing not at all, should it be different from wwe, maybe, but it is in ways and it isn't in others. I don't like repeating myself either but fake is fake, whether country boy morons in the 70s "believed" 2 guys were actually fighting in the ring that didn't mean it wasn't fake, Vince opened the can of worms, you can't put it back, no one under say age 6 with internet access find it real. Was this a good match I'd say no, I like the story, I think Orange knowing and wanting to be a comedy wrestler it's fine and does it hurt Jericho no because he's been beat by people like DOink the clown and I believe Spike Dudley and even a jobber or two in wwe I believe when having a rivalry and they cost him the match so he's just going to find another story to get into with and it'll continue as long as he wishes. ENjoy it or don't my view is based on the show, and podcasts, and youtube stuff everyone in the company has fun, they get along, and it doesn't seem toxic like other companies can be, and I don't think "Good Ole JR" is concerned with anything if he can afford some condo on the beach for millions as a second home just for a couple hours a week work, If I got paid their paychecks I'd hold MJF's gum and pretty sure tell everyone I have a stupid job but dang I get paid well.

It wasn't the fact that the mouse trap pin finish was botched that got me. It was the fact that Pockets no sold a low blow and then suddenly remembered to keep selling it *after* the match was over. They should have given Pockets a chance to recover and sell the low blow, then go for that mouse trap finish.

Believe it or not, it was Jericho’s fault for the botched ending. Cassidy went for his Mousetrap pinning move where the opponent should fall forward but Chris fell backwards instead making it look weak and weird

jericho botched the finish its called a mousetrap pin, corny.. the pin is actually a decent hold/finish where it ties the person up and disables them from kicking out. its sad that jericho botched it but it is what it is... i dont really care for cassidy myself, but jericho obviously wasnt invested in this match.

it was horrible. again im watching aew with a female friend of mine. she came to watch the main event with me, sat and relaxed. heard it was jericho as she remembered him from wwe. after maybe 5 minutes into the match she called it a trainwreck. near the end she couldnt watch, got got up said fuck this and this crap is so bad it would make jason vorhees jump back in the lack to fkng drown himself again just not to have to watch aew. and this is from a person who remembered attitude and agression era wwf and jericho.

Problem with that was, Jericho gave lost anyone on the idea that he wanted to end Cassidy's career when Cassidy all but gave Jericho his arm and Jericho didn't take it.
