Hard to believe that were slowly sneaking up on 30 years since this was released...yes, still a couple more years to go, but I just can't believe it's been so long. Pornograffitti was, and still is a masterpiece - the band could never top this. An underrated album from an underrated band that was filed away as yet another 'hair band' when grunge took over, but these guys were so much more than just hair. They could actually play their instruments - which was more than could be said for some of those very same bands that dethroned them, and the rest of their genre. Extreme were talented, and taken for granted in an era when such artistry was ignored in favour of glammish good looks.

Once in awhile a song comes along that just hits you and takes you directly back to the past....this is one of those songs, I’m reminded of being in my late teens to early 20’s and a little hick town in West Tennessee called Hollow Rock hanging out with with my buddies, the sun setting down and the smell of different dad’s charcoal grills lighting up everywhere as me and my buddies were planning a weekend night of going down to the local gas station (only one in town) to pick up a case of beer and hit the town chasing tail lol, all the while cruising and listening to the long forgotten hair bands like these, back then seemed everyone was listening to em’.....now I’m 43 and don’t get me wrong, have a wonderful life...but every now and then I’d like to have a Marty McFly moment and take a trip back to those days, if even for a moment, to escape this crazy world....time does indeed fly, thanks Extreme for the memories 😎🎸

I grew up listening to 101.3 2WD in the 90's, and didn't really know many of these artists who played, recorded in the 80's. I had to shazam this after hearing it. Now I am here. :)
