Ok hear me out: before his forced retirement, Captain Pierce was one of the first responders on the scene of Jerry’s fatal drunk driving accident. One of the many things he taught young Les was never to drink and drive, because no matter how good you think you are, you aren’t that good. He told the story of a young race car driver, a literal race car driver, in graphic detail to prove his point to Les Claypool. Go out, have your fun, have a good time, but don’t fuck around. You gotta be careful out here, you can’t tempt fate because this is literally life and death shit. At least according to Captain Pierce. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk
@jimbillyjenkims3 жыл бұрын
See, in my headcanon, Sgt pierce was indirectly responsible for Jerry's death. It stuck in his craw that they made him retire at the age of 65, so he was out drinking his sorrows away. Next verse, who do we have but our boi Jerry again having to much to drink and wrapping his car around a telephone pole. Jerry was drinking with pierce the night of his death!
