Protesting peacefully for just causes is a university tradition going back a hundred years or more, and one I participated in and am proud of what we accomplished. We were right to call for a boycott and divestment of South Africa because of Apartheid, for example, and we helped end Apartheid. But these people are engaging in cultural appropriation of the peace and justice movement, using it for their evil movement for war and injustice, hate and racism and the murder of homosexuals, the re-introduction of slavery in the Middle East by the Houthis and Hamas who they chant in favor of, the denial of equal rights to non-Muslims and of most rights to women, and in favor of all kinds of barbarity and genocide.
