I left my very abusive ( physical, mental, emotional) husband. Together 24yrs and 6 kids. I gave my life to Jesus. Without my husband in my daily life, I've completely surrendered to God and have drawn closer to Him. I attend church, read Bible and pray. I'm in total awe & tears of joy everyday for how God has got me through this. Supernatural peace, strength & provider. God is healing & restoring me to a better version. I keep my husband in my prayers and leave it in God's hand now. GLORY BE TO GOD!🙏🛐🙌❤ I will keep searching for ways to share my testimony. And I pray for those that read it will come to Jesus and you too will find refuge in Him. I ask this in Jesus name, 🙏

My husband worked ovetime on New years eve. He work 12hr shifts for an Oil Refinery. Every year he has to work we text each other a Happy New Year Kiss. I sent mine and when he didn't return his I was hurt. He came home this morning and didn't come upstairs to bed. He stayed downstairs and slept. Instead of getting upset, Im going to ask him why he didn't return my happy new year Kiss. Whatever he tells me im going to drop it and continue my spiritual walk with Christ. You said some really important things here. First off... Prayers are sent but can we help with anything? I know it's probably a terrible feeling and sometimes we look so far for a fix and it's painful to sit in all that but I also promise you aren't alone. There's a lot of pain and none of it is your fault. Whatever voices are telling you that you are unworthy or can't, replace them with "God is in me, I am enough". I say these things out loud and I also have a poster of what I think i am:) Example: I am... Enough "The lord is my helper, I will not fear,. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:6 Strong "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." Timothy 1:7 Disciplines: Exercise yourself toward godliness. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come." Open: "Listen to advice and accept instruction for you may gain wisdom in the future." Love: But above all things put on love, which is the bond of perfection. Colossians 3:14 Healed: Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers out of them all." Psalm 34:19

I am still trying to process it all. This message is just as relevant now as it was a couple years ago; it makes me lean on the Lord ever so tightly. Especially now, relationships should be maintained; we must pour into each other to the best of our abilities; whether it be in isolation, from remote locations, etc. I am glad I know this now as I try to navigate a long-distance relationship and begin a path of reconciliation with my family. Proverbs 19:11 Ecclesiastes 7:21-22 ESV Do not take to heart all the things that people say, lest you hear your servant cursing you. Your heart knows that many times you yourself have cursed others. Proverbs 18:19 ESV A brother offended is more unyielding than a strong city, and quarreling is like the bars of a castle. Ephesians 4:2-3 ESV With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. And there were more

After listening to personal feelings on top of personal feelings. seeing fun props, lots of entertainment, lots of jokes you hear a brief mention of Christ. There was more talk about Satan then God in this clip. People in the crowd were "amening" things that had nothing to do with God. Church is the gathering of the called out ones for the glorification and praise of God. In that worship to Him, He transforms our hearts by the reading of His word. The more we learn about God, the more we want to change ourselves. When we see His holiness, it makes us want to destroy our flesh and be holy as He is holy.
@JohnnyElectro796 жыл бұрын
i just meant the "dump" analogy bro. I totally understand everything else you are getting at-it's very child like, on the nose type teaching. It's trying to build an "i can do it" attitude that quickly burns out unless it is a "i can't do it, only Christ can" focusing on Him alone. @@rage.against.the.regime1913 I really hadn't considered how my way of dealing with offenses literally separates me from my wife until I saw the props. If it draws people back to God what does it matter if it's not eloquent or intellectually sophisticated?
@cefsgreat54226 жыл бұрын
@@rage.against.the.regime1913 you know even if the message is so simple it takes a lot of work to drop offence in people's lives. Being reminded to DROP IT, DROP IT. DROP IT. Is a big help for all who wants to change.

Wow...Our God works so amazingly and always just at the right time! I am taking a bit of time away from my home, my husband, and some other outside troubles that the enemy just keeps throwing down at us. We've been speaking about the Dirty-D word, and regrets are plenty for that already, even tho it's calm, even tho it's fresh...but Pastor Furtick, I just wanna thank you for living thru the Word of the Lord! I'm so excited to get out of here, yes! But I'm more excited to get back to it all, right here, and push forward! I believe He has just answered some much needed prayers tonight. Thank you, Thank You, Jesus! Hallelujah

I love pastor Steven's approach in every single message. Its real, simple, specific, and it applies to everyday life. I know that a lot of people are upset because he doesn't get into the bible as much as they feel that he should, but it doesn't bother me because the word is not black and white text on the page. If our heavenly Father is alive inside of you and you believe in him and all that he has done then the word is living. Its in your everyday life and through our heavenly Fathers voice you should be able to connect the dots.

Furtick!! You hit it out of the park on this visual and this teaching. Been married 33 years and every day EVERY DAY there is stuff I just gotta drop. Some days I do better than others. The dishes, the cooking, the nail clipping anywhere in the house and the comments that dig deep into old stuff.

Praying for you. I wish God could have given me a second chance but it's to late for me since I waited to long to apologize and drop all our wrong doings that he married someone else. Fight for your relationship and believe if it's meant to be God will help you reconcile don't let the devil win by making you not want to fight and hold on to the hurt and be unable to forgive. How I wish I could have heard this sermon years ago my life could have been much happier then painful holding on to all the resentment

Sir…today is my birthday. I had the unexpressed expectation that the man that I am in love with would acknowledge it in a certain way and he didn’t. On a separate note, I have an addiction to tarot card readings and I feel strongly that God wants me to listen to Him instead, but it’s an addiction so I struggle. Today I asked God to speak to me about what was going on, and when I opened up KZbin, possibly to watch a tarot reading, here you were talking about birthdays and unexpressed expectations😳 I want you to know that the Lord does speak through you and you helped me immensely today💗 God truly blessed your word. Thank you🙏🏽

I have used this example at work to explain how other co-worker have offended each other in written counseling. We love your messages Thank you from Milton, FL.

This is my personal testimony. I used to believe that I was super strong, super smart, capable of taking care of myself, and even though I have always been a believer, my faith in God wasn't as strong as it was in myself. Two years ago I had a serious personal problem with my family, without going into details; at that point, my family was my God, they were the reason I live for, in other words, my "EVERYTHING", but due to the issue with them one day they ALL, everybody abandoned me, over the night... I was left without anything and anyone to talk to. Months passed by, on which I couldn't sleep, lost my appetite and also my will to live. I pretended for a while that I was fine ‘cus I full of pride so I couldn’t admit that this time I wasn’t gonna be able to fix myself…until I couldn't take it any longer. One night when the pain was unbearable, and desperation took over me, finally, I realized that I couldn’t keep living that way, so I started planning how to kill myself, I gave some thoughts to the idea because I wanted to be effective and final, I needed to stop the pain but before I did it I got on my knee, very angry with God, at 3 something am, I screamed to God "IF YOU CARE ABOUT ME, DO SOMETHING BECAUSE I CAN'T DO THIS ANY LONGER!!!, I AM A GOOD PERSON AND YOU KNOW IT!!! I CAN'T TAKE THIS PAIN ANY LONGER!!! I DON'T WANT THIS LIFE ANY MORE!!, IF YOU DON'T DO SOMETHING I AM!!! IF YOU SAVE ME I PROMISE I WILL DEDICATE THE REST OF MY LIFE TO YOU!!!” After this, all I remember comes to me like a flashback, I swear, I don't know how I got back to my bed( my last memory was been in my knee by my bed). Later on( I am not sure how long it passed), on this flashback I opened my eyes for a second and my room was full of extraordinary light, so strong I couldn't keep my eyes open, I was in a fetal position on my bed, my room was full of Jesus’s presence(I didn't need to see his face because the love and peace that overcame my body, the feeling that fulfilled my inner being was screaming the existence of Jesus in my bedroom). I woke up at 10:35am as A TOTAL NEW PERSON, I felt like I have lost a heavyweight I was carrying on, I was radiant, hunger, happy, and full of hopes and plans for my life... Jesus saved me! he cleansed my spirit from evil desires OVER THE NIGHT! just the way my family forsakes me. I have been wanting to give my testimony for almost 2 years, I guess the Lord decided that today was the day, he is REAL people, he is, and all we have to do is to redeem ourselves to him and ask for help, he is waiting for us to do so, this is mentioned in the Bible on Matthew 11:28 “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” We don't have to suffer alone, Jesus died for us, so we can live an abundant and long life. My feeling towards my family hasn’t changed at all, if anything I love them more than ever, nor I hold any negative feelings against them, I still will give my life for any of them, the only difference now is that I will ask Jesus first if he is ok with this. To the Lord be the glory! God bless you all.
