@@OffTheRanch Hey, for some reason I can't start a new thread, but I wanted to say that's an awesome idea to have ADA compliant rooms on the resort! Hey Matt, you need to insure piece by piece. There is special Gun Range insurance. So insure that separately. You might want to gate that area off for liability purposes. Then Insure the different areas and Facilities. Its a large property, you could insure it as a ranch, but will need to handle the Gun Range first. Also write out regulatory safety manual for the gun range. Have that ready to hand over when getting a quote. Indicate safety protocols both in a manual (for explosions and shooting). Honestly would be cheaper & easier to get what called a threshold rubber(though they do come in metal) ramp. I have bought some from discount ramps website for places or houses I go to regularly(like I got reimbursed but an organization I belong to used to have a fold ramp because of a curb(because of snow it had to be portable versa ramps are rubber but lightweight, but ez_access makes similar ones). But I think the camera is making it look worse than it is like most electric chairs though I wouldn't hit at speed but looks like it would roll over it & in a manual chair though threshold ramps are great for me I might have to pop a slight wheelie to clear my casters but I have seen navigated a lot worse. So I usually have 2 portable folding ramps one for curbs and one for other needs though trying to figure out if I can take the 6 footer & have it be modular so I only have to have one like 3' would be great for curbs & smaller stuff also the 6' one is just heavy.

Matt, Get WiFi thermostats for your houses and you can adjust and monitor the temperature from anywhere. Honeywell makes them.
@UnorthodoxKnoxАй бұрын
My previous landlord had those and would always set them at 85 degrees in the summer so the AC wouldn't kick on, and 54 degrees in the winter so the heater wouldn't kick on, despite me paying the electricity and gas... I would set it to 72 and after 30 minutes it would be set again to 85, set it to 72 again then back up to 85 minutes later. Then I wou- I mean it would short out, he went through 5 of those before he just gave up and put in the old one and I didn't have any problems after that, funny. I'm pretty sure he didn't want me using the AC because that would "wear it out." Some landlord are great, but some are just awful.

Matt, if you want some ADA stuff, they make shower chairs you can just toss in whenever someone with a need is coming. They also make door frame rubber mat ramps to make it so a wheelchair can roll up over the lip of the door without having to do any permanent remodels. Also, consider getting an oven/range with the knobs on the front instead of the back... There are other simple solutions out there to help. Best of luck man!

Put the canopy on wheels so you can move them.
@markhughes2611Ай бұрын
Make your Pavilions? or shooting stands benches or whatever moveable.. Like on skids or wheels so you can move them around with the truck for different events.. Or put them on tracks so you move them back or forward.
@aatdk5264Ай бұрын
8:37 Now it's just an idea. you couldn't build something that ran on railway tracks. Then you could move it further away and closer 🤔

Very nice lodgings and amenities! Might I suggest lever knobs/handles for entry doors for accessibility codes. ❤❤

Lay a set of rails, then, build a canopy which you can push forwards on the rails. That way, you can push the canopy back once you’re done. Plus, the rails can be kinda embedded into the apron in font of the berm preventing them from getting in the way and tripping you all up and t’ing.

Nice job on the welcome merch pack! Awesome! Also, you should put the pavilion on a tracks or wheels, so you can move it to the distant you want or out of the way when you have the big events you don't invite us too! Just saying!.

Rolling Pavilion yes, but instead of rails, more like the starting gates used at a horse track. Just tow it around with your equipment of choice. Could have several, which gives you options of corse. Depending on the logistics, could use the for extra shade at your river bbq’s.

Matt, they make a ADA rubber ramp that you can put at the front door to make it accessible, it's like a angled welcome mat. Hope you get to see this!!! Love you videos!!!

You can get some really beat up trailers (or semi trailers). Then do something similar to your stage just permanent. Also i recommend getting some smart thermostats. That way you can adjust the temp of each home from your phone. Then you can move them about as needed with anything able to pick up one end. Kinda like the mobile mini offices of construction sights.

I know you and your friends probably like this side of the container, because it's the first side to be ready and you're probably used to shoot there with the back made in railroad blocks... but you have an other side that could be used for those little calibers up close. You could keep the "main" side for the bigger calibers. The idea of the movable platform I read in another comment, isn't bad! Oldcrafty3046 idea is really good too!
