Received the V3 with blue chameleon VML, but I ordered the Hybrid, so Flam7 allowed me to keep the pad for my troubles and they are sending the Hybrid in addition. Can't beat that with a stick! Well, actually you can, but you know what I mean. Offworld products are such solid pieces of art in my opinion. Maybe I'm too melodramatic about practice pads but that's all I play on these days and I need them to be durable and bounce really well. Will report back when the hybrid arrives. Keep on drumming! Flam7- thanks for restoring my faith in drum businesses. You are a class act.

I am not a fan of mylar laminates on snare pads, especially with the invader because the darkmatter is such a good material, and imo it feels so much better than regular gum rubber or any mylar laminates, the only thing that can compete with the invader is really the xymox reserve pad.
@SnareMan6 жыл бұрын
The dark matter is nice and I agree leaps and bounds over the gum rubber stuff, but I like that the mylar makes it sound a little more articulate. I considered the Xymox, but wasn't willing to wait for 3 months or maybe longer along with their reported less than stellar customer service. So the mylar was a close second for getting closer to a snare sound.
@liveuntouchable92396 жыл бұрын
SnareMan honestly the wait for the xymox is worth it the pad feels amazing on your hands I can practice for hours with no problems unlike my invader which starts to hurt my hands after a while during long practice sessions

I suppose I have nothing to lose having to wait for 3 months at this point
@SnareMan6 жыл бұрын
What do you think feels different about the Xymox?
@liveuntouchable92396 жыл бұрын
SnareMan I can’t really explain too well how it feels I can just say that it’s something about it I think it may be the laminate they use that makes it feel like a real snare but also still kind of have a soft feel at the same time. I definitely still use my offworld sometimes because offworld pads have an amazing feel but xymox just feels really seamless and gives amazing rebound
