@tachiiderp2 жыл бұрын
I kind of find it the opposite in that the cheater videos aren't very helpful. Since regular folks will never reach the level where they'll seriously try to compete against an engine there's a lack of practical examples shown in the game where you can apply it to whatever your level is. And you can see Daniel has no time to explain anymore as the engine mercilessly move every couple seconds which hampers the effectiveness of a speed run video. I mean, sure it supports the idea that small inaccuracies lead to losing but this only applies when the gap is this huge.

They don't even try to hide the fact that they're using an engine, which indicates they're probably not a very good player who could mix in human moves to throw you off. You know it's a red flag for a computer when they outright ignore threats with some calm improving move turn after turn, or happily jump into long exchange sequences knowing all the intermezzos beforehand. It's always fun flagging these types when you can, and extra fun if they actually start playing rather than just let time run out and try to keep up the charade. Qa4 with the threat of playing Rd7, putting pressure on the bishop and thereafter Nd5 to put even more pressure on the bishop, forcing the bishop to the passive d8 square. Just the fact that the opponnent takes forever to capture the pawn is already a huge red flag

I am convinced that cheaters only exist to piss people off. Why cheat in a game? They didn't even work for the victory they gained. It's a shallow one. A win you can't be proud of. The only reason for wanting to cheat in a game is, because the cheater believe that they deserve a victory without effort. No one else should win against them, and the thought of anyone winning against them pisses them off. So they work to stroke their damaged ego. The cheater isn't playing to have fun or enjoy the hard work of improve one's skill. No, they have a weak mental and can't stand the hard work the comes with it, and a shallow pointless victory is enough for them. Cheaters are the worst.

If there was a way to verify identity Chess,com could permanently ban them. But I guess that would impact revenue way too hard.

"Our opponent taking his time on fxe6.. good stuff" "I have a very strong feeling we're going to lose this" Yeah, when your opponent takes time on an obvious recapture, you know you're playing someone special.

Some people are really out there cheating with their whole chest, pretending that thinking for 10 seconds on random moves will fool the opponent. It's even funnier when the cheater must literally just not play chess at all because they stop to consider moves like taking the queen or a checkmate sequence.

Its amazing how they can get to these high ELOs without getting banned I've reported a cheater more than 6 times they're still not banned and playing with 95% accuracy each game they move in 1 to 2 seconds it's not even a question if they're cheating or not
