The worst part is Michigan was playing mostly zone the entire game and not blitzing… should have been so easy to scheme up open passes

To be honest, I'd like to see a boycott of Ohio State games and products. I've been a supporter of Day for 4 years... Saturday was 100% because of the play calling and his ego to look "tough". I don't care about the playoffs or a championship. He disrespected the greatest class we've had in my lifetime.

Why did they ever go away from some of the things they were doing earlier in the season?? It was against Western Michigan or one of those teams starting off the game. They moved the ball so beautifully in that game, after that it seemed like the offense kind of faded? That was a terrible game by Ryan and Chip both and they should be ashamed of themselves!!!

I’m not sure this can be called a “pucker-factor” game….or even a full-blown “choke”. We’ve all seen that…that’s not what this was. It takes every nerve in my body to stop from wondering if this loss was intentional. After 45yrs of watching football, I’ve NEVER seen a game like that before. This wasn’t players choking, or not executing a good game-plan, per-se…..this was intentional play-calling. And, neither Day, nor Kelly would address the purpose of it….or, at least not to the degree their explanation made any sense to anyone.
@jgdwick4067Күн бұрын
Absolutely Day is a great coach ….with a bunch of drunk fans….Day didn’t miss the kicks and he didn’t throw the interceptions !!!!!
@jaysonp9426Күн бұрын
You're right, he called half back dive after half back dive to prove he's tough instead of using the best receiving core in OSU history. He also didn't recruit the best kicker in the country from Ohio who went to Alabama. So yes, it is 100% his fault.

Amen. The only thing that this clown in the grey suit said, is that Bjork most likely isn’t speaking for himself. We don’t know what Bjork was told to say. But, yes, anyone supporting Day “for the foreseeable future” is doing it at the expense of 99% of OSU fans.
@IrishFlip31322 сағат бұрын
We might as well get use to this exact ending each year Buckeye Nation. Those are our coaches and leaders… 😂 give me a f_cking break! Day gets paid so much money and does not deliver in the BIG GAMES. Good luck thinking this team will win a Natty. Those players know that the coaching team let them down and will end up second guess their game plan going forward.
@patrickshumaker7177Күн бұрын
Bjork's announcement should be interpreted that he won't fire Day until OSU loses in the first round of the playoffs, if they are lucky enough to make it in. If they don't make it in, then he will announce the firing. It should be Day, Knowles and Kelly.
@mozizsupposes17 сағат бұрын
Guy on left argues that “sanctity of The Game has changed” … but even if Ohio wins a natty, no one will remember this season except for losing to Michigan’s 3-star studded team. It’s an interesting way to cope the loss, and I’d probably be doing the same. But the only think he will think about the next 364 days is The Game.

Why it happened and what needs to be done? Why? Ryan Marty McDay hates being called soft and will do EVERYTHING possible to prove he ain't even to the detriment of losing a game to prove his point. What? Play to win, no fear and play to your strengths. We have 3 NFL WR's and they were NEVER used in 2nd half. Jeramiah Smith was targeted 0 times. HE scored our ONLY TD last drive of 1st half when we threw the ball 6x in a row! RESULT TOUCHDOWN. What Day and Kelly did to those kids and fans was just CRIMINAL.

You can blame it on this, that and everything else, but the bottom line, Michigan won the line of scrimmage in each game the last 4 years. Even Saturday, against our defense when it mattered the most at the end of the game they outmuscled us on their final drive. To me the lack of physicality is on our strength coach.

OSU fans are the worst in college football, never happy with win or losses. So you lose to your rival again, big deal. Look at other rival in college football and it happens all the time. You have to look at the body of work not just one game. Players have to be responsible as well, you can’t miss fields goals and interceptions to win games. I agree the game calling was bad, we were not aggressive at all. But, we have a chance to win the Natty and to me that is more important.

Ryan Day is being paid a hellacious amount of money, the donors have did everything in their power to help this man!. I get some of what you’re saying about Ryan but don’t agree with it all!! He got all of his wishes granted to him in his staff, getting players to return to win a championship this year!!! You have to stop and think about the donors, what’s best for the team moving forward. I have faith that if OSU would make a coaching change that they’d handle it very well!! They aren’t going to hire just any coach, will do their due diligence seeking the right fit. If you watched Ryan Day after that loss makes me wonder if he’s well enough to coach!!!
