I want to see them grab a good kicker. They really need to.

Exactly. Some of the lost games in the past was due to missed and short kicks

Yes! More importantly than anything, the Buckeyes need much better special teams in 2025.

After the playoffs. Don’t wanna shake out fragile kicker too much more. Need him to steel up for hopefully 3 more games…

I want to see Rob Keys develop elite field goal kickers and punters. Special Teams is consistently weak and cost Day 1/2 of his losses.

100% Tressel was a master at Special Teams. In big games Special Teams has cost the Buckeyes & Day almost every time.

So real. If we had a crazy kicker we’d be undefeated this season

The 2 positions the Buckeyes need are a kicker and we need to develope those monster DE we used to have.

Ohio State usually has the best roster from top to bottom of just about every team they play year in & year out. Doesn't guarantee anything, but we don't rebuild, we just reload.

Again, players are seeing what's possible when the full arsenal of weapons are actually used. They saw that against Tennessee. It can't be a coincidence that this flurry happens right after that game

IMO the assessment of the 2024 offensive line is not right. Prior to the injuries they had 3 guys playing at an all American level. They would have won that stupid (all too political) offensive line award too. Watch where the LT, LG, and C get drafted.

Eleven Warriors film study host noted that OSU, who is know as a zone run team, DID NOT RUN ONE ZONE PLAY. Our genius coaches finally got their heads out of their butts. Just maybe they finally figured out that the over-reliance on zone put our O line at a disadvantage where our guys over the years have been consistently caught on their heels, surrendering leverage early and often by letting the defenders under their pads with the inevitable TFL and LOS ending up on our side of the ball. Urban Meyer noted the latter on BTN in a look at the Michigan game film. This has given the appearance of our big guys being soft over the years. On Saturday our guys were firing off the ball, staying under the pad level of the opponent, establish leverage against the defenders, resulting in control of the LOS. Note I did not say domination. That's coming if they keep it up, but the coaches have to stay out of their way. Has anyone pondered the question why our best O lineman is a 3 star transfer from Alabama? Could it be that Day and Frye did not have enough time to screw him up like the rest of our big guys? Montgomery was outstanding Saturday and Hinzman has been excellent, especially at left guard, so why have they been on the sideline for most of the year? Could it be that our genius coaches have been recruiting and evaluating starters on the stupid, bad habit developing, zone blocking schemes that our big guys have not been able to consistently execute for years, so they really don't know what they have in non-zone run plays. The waste of all that skill position talent in Judkins and Henderson drives me crazy when I think about it.
