OSU’s biggest problem this year is going to be their O line again imo. Casuals don’t seem to understand how important a dominate O line is if you want to beat top teams and win championships. Maybe they’ll surprise us this year but we saw their starting o line in the spring game and they didn’t look great.

Warren was a pleasant surprise. But keep in mind that this is only one "practice". Tuttle didn't to get play due to injury. Orji, IMO, is the QB1. There is just so much he can do athletically that others cannot. If he can be over 60% in completions and get the ball often to TEs over the middle and quick outs to receivers and have the team rely on YAC, He could get there. If Warren (or Tuttle or even Denegal) becomes the starter, there will be some form of a 2QB system, with Orji coming in specific situations. Hopefully they can keep all of the QBs in the fold.

I really love this show but I am sick and tired of TJ throwing shade on the Michigan QBs. He had been pining and whining for a transfer portal QB for weeks...but recently, he said something to the effect of "I was wrong. I was hot on the transfer portal but after today (the Spring game), I think they have a guy or two who can do the job". (paraphrased) Now he's back to "If Michigan had Kyle McCord, they'd be really dangerous..." Dude, wtf? I'd take Orji or Warren RIGHT NOW over bringing in McCord or anyone else currently in the portal. Why do you want to spit on the guys who are here who have shown tremendous loyalty and commitment?

I personally believe that Kyle McCord was a good QB for OSU and arguably, he would be better than ANY of the Michigan QBs right now if he played for Michigan. I also believe the McCord, arguably would be be better in 2024 than any other OSU QB if he had stayed at OSU. A second year starter typically takes a leap from the first year.

@@terencethompson5789 Larry Johnson is the longest tenured coach at OSU, not Alford who pretty much had to interview for his job after the bowl game and was given just a 1 year deal along with a pay cut, but congrats on getting him. Bill O'Brien left for BC to be a head coach in the city where he's from along with getting the proper healthcare for his son who has serious medical issues. Besides, Chip Kelly is an upgrade. Yes, we had to get a RB from the portal because your new RB coach wasn't able to maintain the RB room while he was here and depth lacked. Other players who arrived were great players who were available that anyone in America would have taken. If you want to knit pick Day's first 5 years like that then let's talk about Harbaugh's first 5 years at Michigan where he had three top 10 classes including a top 5 class, what did he accomplish in those first 5 years? Day, much like Harbaugh in his first 5 years, made some bad hires on the staff but has made the necessary changes along with embracing more of a CEO role. At least none of the former and current coaches are getting arrested or getting fired for destroying laptop's. At least we have an AD that we like and isn't a puppet to the old head alum's who are dragging their feet to embrace NIL.

Watching highlights of every guy on the QB roster, McCord does look like the best QB. He has a better arm than every guy that's on the team right now. He was the closet thing you had to a pro prospect right now that you have . Now maybe next season with air and Julian having another year that will change.. I think McCord for you would have made a gigantic leap from yr 1 starting to yr 2. That's usually how it goes
