I went through this and have that book! I recovered by myself with the help of a couple of websites on breast implants (I had saline) and had mold air samples that showed 100% on each floor. I lived on a slope backing to a marsh and lost so much, including friends, family and money! I asked my doctor to test my blood for certain things, and he was so nice that he did whatever he could. My 35 year-old son is living with his father and has this, but he’s stuck in the Medicaid system, but I think it would be cheaper for us to each chip in to get him private insurance. We’re trying to appeal his disability because he has had meningitis, several severe brain traumas, and I saw found mold growing on his wall in his room! It’s been 6 months since the cause was fixed, but they are just now getting it remediated. The mental health place he has to go knows NOTHING about mold! They think I’m nuts. I don’t care, and I’ll keep trying to get him to stay here and do what he’s supposed to. He’s not listening I can to me, and I just got his dad on board with this. Thank God for meditation! I could not have made it through my life with chronic illnesses and chronic pain from the implants without it. Thanks for this video! I hope he’ll listen to it!

@@OliviaFarabaugh I smiled reading your reply. Thank you so very much! It’s nice to know someone else who knows about mold (and meditation). I like the strong quotes, too. My favorite and my son’s is “ The comeback is always stronger than the setback.” I have it on my fridge, but can’t give credit to anyone that I could find. Stay strong, snd my prayers are connected to your continued wellbeing.

I have been going to ER for 3 years after getting EXTREMELY sick from black mold in my office that I was in for like 10 months, and every time they always diagnosed me with just like anxiety, vertigo, muscle relaxers, but never any answers... Plus I eat bananas everyday and I just found out bananas are the worst thing to eat with CIRS since it's high in Amylose.

Oh my gosh!!!! Thank you for this video!!!!! You guys did a great explanation in laymen's terms. CIRS is freaking overwhelming and you all are inspiring. I have been on this journey for a year. Explaining this to loved ones is hard when I don't feel well and am trying to wrap my brain around all the things myself. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. I am adding you to my list of wellness resources. Thank you !!!!!! Hugs!!!!

Thank you for this. I am currently in a situation where I believe my husband and I and our baby are living in mold, not by choice but by necessity (a non professionally partially finished basement). After giving birth a year ago I have been disabled by so many various chronic symptoms. I’m suspected of MCAS, EDS/LYME, POTS/dysautonomia, diagnosed secondary adrenal insufficiency, hoshimotos in the past month. By six weeks postpartum I knew something was wrong but my labs seemed normal at first, now we are starting to get some hits on lab tests but I am at the point where I am falling asleep in the middle of the day, I can barely walk, and I am on antihistamines to stop my body from breaking out in hives - my dermographia is significant. We have been able to leave the environment to house sit for the past month but I am not feeling any better. Soon we head back into the environment for ten days before we leave to house sit again and then to travel. I just don’t know how we can afford to leave as the reason we live there currently is due to the expense of our state and the fact that I haven’t been able to work (symptoms and being a stay at home mom). I’m exhausted. Everything is haywire!

Ahhh what a rare find! I stumbled upon your video when I was researching Casita trailers. I too have mold toxicity, which I think was triggered from the gardasil shot. Did you happen to get that shot? Anyways I am up in Seattle trying to find a way out of my parents house and maybe quit my job and travel around in a Casita! How is your progress going? I know mold toxicity takes awhile. I think itraconazole ans nasal anti fungal spray may also help in addition to what you are doing. Best of luck!

Hi I also have CIRS and I am interested in your journey. Thanks for sharing. How are your doing now?It is so hard find others who are going through this and it is very lonely and emotional. I am still healing and would love to connect. I love your music too. I've been writing music to help me cope and good had been with me even though I literally feel like I'm drowning sometimes.

Hi Stephanie, I am SO sorry you are going through this!! I found it hard to find others going through this as well and I’m so glad that this video has brought our paths together! I am still in the thick of it BUT compared to where I was before starting treatment and educating myself, I am doing much better than those days!! The hardest part for me right now is preventing re-exposure in order to have continued success in the treatment and in life in general. I started this fb and Instagram called @cirssupport if you might find that helpful. I am determined to find ways to help CIRS patients cope with the challenges of living a symptom free life, in a world full of water damaged buildings. We WILL get through this. It is so incredibly difficult and like you said, drowning, is a good description of how it can feel sometimes. God has a plan for us, though it might be veryyyy confusing right now. He will use this for good❤️ I am so glad you are enjoying my music, thank you so much! It is so great you are using music as an outlet as well! There is just nothing like it 🤗 I would love to keep in touch as we go on this journey!

@@OliviaFarabaugh thank you for your uplifting words. I will check out your Instagram. I am in the same boat. Trying to navigate exposures in a world full of WDB. It feels like the world is stacked against us and it's so unfair. But I love what you said about God having a plan for us. I feel the truth of that despite the unknowns and confusion. How do you navigate exposures? Or gatherings with family?
@OliviaFarabaugh
@OliviaFarabaugh 3 жыл бұрын
@@stephaniepugh-music absolutely! It is really challenging! We are still working through those same issues. We did get a respirator that is seeming to help to prevent some exposure in situations that it seems unavoidable. It is called Curve 02. I have the link below. I’ve been waring that pretty much everywhere until I can better navigate buildings that will be better for me. I’m not saying that it’s the “end all” but I feel like it has been helping! We are going to do a little video on that as well in case anyone else wants to try it too! www.amazon.com/O2-Canada-respiratory-protection-reusable/dp/B085FPPPVX/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=curve+02+mask&qid=1620690531&sr=8-1

@@OliviaFarabaugh oh thank you that is neat. I have a big p100 mask that is so ugly looking but I've been wearing that everywhere I go too. It's not as embarrassing since it's also covid time lol. But I need to look at your mask closer. Do you know if it filters mold and other biotoxins and at what level? I cant wait to see your video about it. Thank you.

@@OliviaFarabaugh also I am struggling with vacations, like staying the night at my moms that has a crawl space and is 20 years old. Right now I miss out and avoid. Have you found a way to Navigate this or do you avoid? Thats depressing and not everyone understands it which is a big emotional burden of having CIRS, as I'm sure you're aware. But I believe we will find ways to work through this and God will show us a path to still live a love full of love and purpose. 🙏 sending love and prayers to you and all those navigating CIRS right now.

Joey I am so sorry that i missed your comment! I am also so sorry that your experiencing the challenges that come with CIRS. I am currently on VIP and the binder called Wellcall. Since being on VIP I have been finally starting to feel better for the last few months. I still have flair ups though depending on what buildings and environments i am in. I could go a week feeling virtually symptom free or have a week that 4 out of the 7 days i feel fatigued and throbbing. BUT i do have to say my bad days now are not as bad as they once were. Symptoms are defiantly starting to soften as a whole when there is a flair up. I have been finding a dry sauna or epsom salt bath help to detox and elevate the body throbbing . I will keep you in my prayers as you find comfort and healing. Please let me know if there is anything i can do to help!
