Everybody underrated the performance of Tony Tucker because Mac Call was underrated. The fact is that a Tony Tucker at 50% of his capacities dominated a future champion of the world.

Tucker gave LENNOX LEWIS a very tough fight that went the distance as well

the commentators just don't like him because he was safe, kept himself from getting hit and waited for the right time to finish the fight. it wasn't a crowdpleasing style like tyson but it was smart

It was a good fight, but despite McCall's spirited showing, Tucker took this one by a couple of rounds. Respect to both guys, they were two tough, great heavyweights whose skill is underrated.

Tucker in his prime 85 - 93 ish only lossed to Tyson & Lennox. And neither knocked him out. He'd be a real problem in this era.

One of the worst commentaries ever. Constant carping and complaining. Constant reference to 6'2" McCall as 'a little guy'. Total underestimation of McCall's granite chin and overall ability. Constant moaning because the fight wasn't proceeding according to Tucker's supposed superiority against a 'journeyman' that would go on to demolish the great Lennox Lewis.

Powerful Oliver Mcall 👏 the Atomic BULL Was one of my favorite heavyweights I will take him down the championship row. Jack Johnson...wins unanimous decision Jack Dempsey...the Bull knocks him out Gene Tunney...Mcall knocks him out Primo Canero...Mcall knocks him out Joe Luis...Mcall knocks him out Jersey Joe...Mcall knocks him out Ezzard Charles...Mcall knocks him out The Rock...Mcall knocks him out Floyd Patterson...Mcall knocks him out Ingamar Johansson...The Atomic Bull knocks him out Sonny Liston...Mcall knocks him out Muhammad Ali...wins easy unanimous decision. Joe Frazier...wins split decision Big George Foreman...wins 2 out of 3 after losing the first fight to Mcall by knockout Evander Hollyfield...wins after busting Mcall up with Headbutts. Mike Tyson...wins unanimous decision Lennox Lewis...you saw it yourself Henry Akawanda....you saw it yourself Tony Tucker...you saw it yourself. Wladimir Klitsko...Mcall knocks him out. Vladimir Klitsko...wins unanimous decision Anthony Joshua...wins 2 outta 3 after getting knocked out by Mcall in first fight Dontay Wilder...wins unanimous decision The Gypsy King...gets up off the floor to win a unanimous decision Why do I say this 1. The difference between today's super heavyweights and the cruiser weights of the past 2. Mcall stood up to super heavyweights like Lennox Lewis , Tony Tucker and Henry Akawanda and took their best without even falling let alone getting knocked out 3. He knocked out Lennox Lewis and Henry Akawanda ( giants) with one punch and they didn't flinch. They were out cold 🥶.

@@author7027 Sir....might I point out that Oliver ( your Atomic BULL) was a massive muscled man as compared to the championship of old and he carried a right hand that knocked out ( Marciano Style) Champions like Lennox Lewis and Henry Akawanda 👏. Can you imagine what that right hand would do to the Cruiserweights of the past? Men who came into the ring on their best days weighing in at barely 200 pounds soaking wet...guys who were fat and overweight if they came in at 205 ? It would be like a normal man going up against a fully grown adult male Neanderthal 🙄 Sorry...no contest.
