Man your eye is excellent. It's so cool you were able to recognize so many colors to make up a skin tone. The most I may have done was four. And how small your brush strokes are fascinates me, every stroke has a specific purpose and I love it.

I actually appreciate it being slower. I was able to understand what you were doing. Beautiful work!
@bryttneynikole89946 жыл бұрын
Leatha Scott To be technical, it's not slow. She works on really big pieces and takes her time so this is still really sped up. She's just so incredibly detailed that it seems sorta slow.

The way you capture emotions in your paintings and paint the hair, fabric and skin tones is just so amazing. It's expressive like an artwork and realistic like a photograph at the same time, AMAZING

I refuse to believe this is a painting! It's way too beautiful! Absolutely astounding work of art!

I don't think I've ever cared to admire or been amazed by a painting until clicked on one of your videos. You are so flawlessly talented that it's just enjoyable to watch. Your passion in your art is so obvious it's enviable. I would buy a piece of your work, but I don't know if money can truly reflect the talent you have.

Now that was so impressive! When you were finishing the nose I was starting to see in 3D already! I am a 'mature' ahem learner and love seeing this kind of expertise so thank you from a 'would-be' Scottish artist. (I am Scottish it's the artist bit...you know what I mean!) :-)

I too appreciate it being slower, slower even still would be REALLY great. I cannot understand the statement that this a photograph? Wish I could adopt all those colours, perhaps I need to take a course in portraits at night school. I've been working (not all the time) on the famous painting "Girl with a pearl earring" for going on 3 years, I lost confidence I guess but if a painting isn't going well it's best to leave it for a while but after watching this I'll have another go. You have such a great talent and thank you for sharing your work.

@LarisaCarliArt7 жыл бұрын
You are amazing, the painting is absolutely gorgeous. Do you clean your brushes between using different colors or how do you not get them muddy? I always ruin my mixed colors by going in them with a dirty brush :)
@DariaCallie7 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I wipe my brushes with paper towels or tissues before picking up a new color. And also what helps me, I use 10 to 15 brushes, each one for a different color group of sorts, for example: one brush for pinks and beige tones, another for dark blues, purples and blacks ..and so on, this way it’s easier to avoid polluting the new color because it’s very similar to the paint that’s left in the bristles after you wiped the brush. I hope this helps!
@LarisaCarliArt7 жыл бұрын
This helps a lot, thank you! :)
