The saying above doesn’t reflect the artwork in the video. The artwork is wonderful, but there’s nothing disturbing about it. Norman Rockwell was a great artist, and wouldn’t consider any of his works to be reflected in the above saying either. The above saying is quite horrifying and sick. There’s a sadistic sculpture of a person who was a victim of a serial killer in the home of a political person. That demonic sculpture is a representation by the above saying, and that’s not a good thing. Curious who this someone was who said that.

michelle k I know it’s for me. Art disturbs the comfortable and comforts the disturbed. My anxiety is not putting paint to canvas - it’s in not being able to spread the best of my soul in a way that is easily conveyed to others. I’m sitting down right now in front of a new medium I tried because I found him. The word ‘gouache’ gave me anxiety two hours ago. Now? Not at all. How much do you know me? Nothing at all. Feel free to drop your email so I can send you some of my art and you can send me some of yours. Lots of artists have anxiety about tackling a new area of interest. Growing old also gives me anxiety - is it not for me? Should I just die? Ha, no. I will push through anyway and find the beauty in the process.

What's not to like Yes, he's been around the block a few times and knows the job. Compare his work to some of the so called "art" that you can see for sale in the galleries in New York and he's streets ahead Very nice video, and enjoyed listening to it as well. Good job !

@@Zarouge I now live 100 miles south of Bangkok in Thailand in a condo right on the beach. I look at KZbin videos of New York Galleries. There's a guy who goes round all of them and has done for about thirty years. The standard is dreadful 90% of the time It seems that you need to be in with the "In crowd" to make money, and it helps if you're gay, addicted to alcohol and drugs and have an unpronounceable name. Then all you have to do is get a bowl of dark paint, any colour will do and hurl it at the canvas from about six foot away. That should take you no more than fifteen minutes. Then when it's dry, sell it for thousands. There's obviously many people in New York with far more money than sense. I could go on, but you've got the idea. The guy on the bike making the videos seems to think they're all great. I keep telling him they aint. You can imagine he loves me ! Kind regards - Chris in Thailand

It looks so easy when you do it and I'm scared to try oil painting on my canvas right now and ruin it, but then I have no other option but to go for oil paints as I can't really blend quick enough while using acrylics because the paints dry off before I clean my brush.
@Erinski4 жыл бұрын
Just a small tip for anyone that's not aware, you can put oil on top of acrylic, but not the other way around. Acrylic is like plastic, but oil shrinks and expands ever so slightly, and if you put acrylic on top of it, even if you think it's completely dry, eventually your painting will begin to crack.
