Danny Elfman was never better than when he was with Oingo Boingo, and he never will be able to replicate the charge Oingo Boingo gave us kids. Oh how I miss their music and irreverent lyrics. Danny, please give us a second farewell tour.

I used this song in my high school English lit class back in 1984. Teacher loved it. And gave it an A. He was a bit of a rebel (we were both surfers 🏄‍♂️) 😁.

He’s a jack of all instruments master at none. He learned how to play violin good enough to tour with a French theater troupe in like four months (having never played an instrument until his late teens!) but he doesn’t have the patience to be a virtuoso at anything, he would rather write songs than play them.
