"Okami" | Video Games Live 2017

I got to attend VGL for the first time ever at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center! It is a symphonic homage to video game music, new and old. Songs were played from Super Mario, Pokemon, Megaman and even Overwatch. Since I've been sick, I wasn't able to make a proper video, but here's a taste of what the concert is like. This was the final performance of the night. Enjoy~

Tommy Tallarico that was amazing, simply amazing. First of all this game IS amazing. Its a true artpiece. The only character i ever cosplayed is Okami. I can’t describe how profound this game touched me and so how profound this interpretation touched me, but i cried the whole video.

No matter how many times I listen to the Okami soundtrack on repeat, seeing how much love the game is getting even after all these years really gets me crying every time. These guys did a fantastic work of capturing the spirit of the music. Wish I coulda seen this live for myself too.

Even though all of Ōkami has beautiful music, a small part of me wished that they would have kept playing “Reset - Thank You” for more than just the intro. May the fresh scent of flowers protect you always!

This is amazing thanks for sharing this. I've been to the zelda symphony and if they ever did a tour for okami music I'd love to go. I bet this was amazing to experience this in person.

As a flute player myself I can agree. A flute isn’t aggressive, but the accent placement is so powerful and majestic. Just BEAUTIFUL

@@ultragalaxy06 Yes!! And in the other years you can tell that the flute was not very noticeable in this part in particular, wich is a damn shame, but in this one it was and it just came so so pretty.
