You should watch Disturbed do this song. On Conan O'Brien (sp?) show. David Draimon was sick that day but he went on to sing anyway. His performance is AMAZING!!!!!

BRO, This band, Disturbed, is usually known for the heavier rock type of music. Which I happen to really like, by the way. This singer, David Draiman, is a trained vocalist capable of many variations of especially rock music. I hope you will listen to another side of his style with "Down With The Sickness". I have never been into heavy metal music, so I had never even heard of disturbed until last year. Saw them perform this live on the Conan O'brien show and loved it! David Draiman has such a beautiful, powerful voice that can wring any emotion out of me. I love Disturbed's The Light. Powerful with a powerful meaning. Maybe you could check that out sometime. Another powerful tear jerker of theirs is Hold on to Memories. But you may need something lighted and fun after that. Home Free's working for a Living would be good. I remember this song, as a kid, I didn't like it. Until this cover. This cover, gives Paul Simon's lyrics the intensity that covey the true meaning of the song. If you have ever lived or worked in Manhattan (NYC), it is a NOISY place. After a while you drown it out to the point that you don't care for others. That is why many say that New Yorkers are "rude", we really aren't we are rushed and overwhelmed. Thanks for your reaction.

My favorite rendition to the song ever... makes me think of religion as well people trying to share the truth about what is going on in the world. I also love Pentatonix's rendition... makes me feel entirely different and as for the original by S & G, I feel a sense that I get when I am stoned lol. They are all perfect in their own way.
