Sara has lived a rough life, which is probably why we didn't hear a solo from her. It's almost like they were hiding her voice. Someone who HAD the voice that she had, would not sing backup throughout the entire song, especially when she's more well known than the group that she's singing with.

These dudes might be decent songwriters and the guy might be an ok fiddler, but that's about it truthfully. The can't sing worth a damn and they sounds super screechy on their instruments. Darius Rucker's version also has much better production quality. You combine all that and you get something so much better than these dudes.
