class vid lad, as a glaswegian myself i grew up a celtic fan with an affinity for Partick Thistle as well, i am not religious and hate that aspect of our football culture in scotland, i now as i’ve gotten older have started leaning more towards thistle due to the hatred and religious bs associated with the old firm, no one should ever be scared to walk around glasgow with their clubs colours on, people have been killed over football in glasgow and it’s pathetic tbh, i now attend Thistle games most weeks and i will always have a good opinion of celtic but i’ll never be scared to call out the dafties who ruin the football to spread hate no matter who they support, we are all scottish and need to have less hate and more respect for each other no matter what your beliefs are, Hope everyone is cheering for scotland at the euros in a few weeks 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🙌

Strange that I'm the exact same. I supported the Jags until I was 14 then when my dad stopped taking me to Firhill I started going to see Celtic. Had a season ticket for about 10 years but as I got older and wiser started to grow tired of the sectarianism and religious nature of the divide. I'm now back at Firhill and hardly miss a game 😂

I was the other way round 😂. I grew up supporting Celtic, but I moved to paisley in my 20s, my sister wouldn't let me take my nephew to celtic games so started taking him to St. Mirren games, 15 years later I've got a season ticket 😂. Celtic will always be in my heart, but St Mirren are a good wee family club who do alot in the community.

British derby? You mean World derby mate! Its the only local derby on the planet 🌎 split by Religion (Catholic v Protestant),international Politics,(UDA v Sinn Feinn in Northen Ireland) and countres (Northen Ireland v Republic of Ireland,Israel v Palestine). They were 2 of the biggest clubs in Europe in the 60s/70s but UEFAs pathetic corruption for large countries means rhat teams from small countries (Holland,Belgium Sweden,Scotland etc) cant compete anymore (no money),but despite this, both these teams have still managed to get to European finals in recent times! Sleeping giants!

13:02 it was actually a fan that started a petition to have the club cut Celtics allocation because Celtic kept winning at Poundland. It ran for two or three years before rangers actually did it. Rangers fans were on board with it until Celtic responded in kind. They seemed to assume they’d still get the full allocation at Celtic park. The original fan apparently got death threats from rangers fans after their allocation at Celtic park was cut.

When Celtic played away to Sevco one of Celtics backroom staff was hit on the head with a bottle,also a broken bottle was found in the goal area after halftime in Joe Harts goal.At another game at Sevco where the ub are situated a bin full of weapons where found by the police before the game! I have to be honest, after reading the comment section here, most of the people have confirmed the stereotypes of "Old Firm" fans being bigoted, small minded, hateful people! As a Celtic supporter who grew up in Central Scotland I have had many friends who have supported Hearts, Hibs, Dundee United, Aberdeen, and yes, Rangers! Not for one second would i have ever risked any of those friendships over 22 dudes kicking a bag of air around! Also, in reference to some comments saying that you're a glory hunter if you support the Old Firm from outside Glasgow, a lot of us picked up the love of our teams from our families, my dad's family being from Easterhouse in the East End of Glasgow and I used to attend Parkhead in the early to mid 90s when Celtic were in absolute crisis! And those "glory hunters" probably pump more money into both clubs than people in Glasgow!!
