Hi Joe: if anyone hasn’t told you: the first plane was a Bristol Britannia, an extremely luxurious and fast passenger turboprop with lovely lines for its time , but was developed to close to the pure jet passenger age thereby not having a long service or export life. The silver one against the fence was Britain’s first operational jet fighter at the end of WW2, the Gloster Meteor and was exported to many countries. I think that may have been a ex French one, I couldn’t see the insignia very well and the one without landing gear was an Avro 748. And yes, it was mostly a passenger plane but did have military applications in many countries that it was exported to . I see you have your personal drag strip now. I like it. That would have been the parking apron , I think you folks call them tarmacs(lol) , and in the U.K that was the first and original use of this term for the aviation world. The old terminal had a nice plane viewing platform on the second floor around the base of the control tower and that would have had most excellent views for apron( an outdated term but still used by us old heads) , runway and overall airport action. Hope this helps.

You shouldn't be doing a video on an airport and planes if you know absolutely nothing about planes. Or do a bit of research beforehand.
