A master of the machine in difficult conditions. Little knowledge of machine elements. Dimensional adjustment by trial and error where 1/100 is required at the bearing seat. Cuts threads with the pointed chisel instead of turning a smooth surface. An end product is only good because of its function. Not by taking a daring step.

He doesn't seem all that old to me. He seems to be keeping a lot more numbers in his head than I can. He's a sharp old master, and pretty brave. Who takes the hit if he blows it? That's not a cheap hunk of steel and it gets pretty tight dimensionally. In addition to primitive shops, I bet their insurance policies are not so hot either. This is really pretty serious stuff, huh?

Old man? Looks like he's a decade younger then I am and I feel I'm relatively young. 40 years ago people his age were considered old when they reached his age, but times have changed. Companies want to hire employees in that age bracket because they are mature, dependable, and particular!

So unfortunate that the so called skill has serious limitations, any first year mechanical apprentice would know you never weld on a machine unless you can see both positive and negative leads very close to each other, these guys were welding 'thro' the machine bearings! To help explain further the welding current it passing through the machine bearings on the main spindle of the chuck.

What Truly is Amazing to me is the Way it’s all done and bot just This Fella, I mean in Pakistan and India those folks build thing with tools outside mostly in the Dirt, from Rebuilding The Semi Trucks to doing a Cam Shaft. I seen one before who actually built a Crank Shaft the very same way. I don’t believe it was this man but possibly. There are so many channels on KZbin that video these fellas smelting Down Steel then forging the new Steel into new Products. Also seen them cut the Ship apart at a demo Ship where they come at the shore full speed running the Ship aground good enough then Cut the Ship up into reusable Steel. They took sheets of Thin Steel from a From the Ships to flatten completely flat then form them crudely into a Wheel Barrel. We as Americans are so spoiled if we break one of the wooden Handel Our Lazy Butts will throw into the garbage where it just gets buried. We have because a Lazy Society who watches TV from the time we get home from work if we have one, we come in sit down pop open a beer or a Joint depending on what addiction you have. Then Eat and Goto Bed. In the crazy thing is America is still Young a Baby Country and Still having Growing Pain. Then you have these Countries that are as old as well say back to Jesus Times. Why is it that haven’t gotten like we are in such a short time period. Also why do we let these Corporations move everything they make outside America to place like this but mostly China where the Children have to Work everyday All Day. Every thing e buy is Made Somewhere Else. The Only Thing American does now is the Auto Industry, The Other is We Build Restaurants That Every Single On Of Us Eat At Also Every Single one of Us for The Most Part Are Over Weight in a Word FAT. We went to Our County Fair and My Wife Looked Around and ask me to do the very same look are the crowd of people waiting in line, she said tell me what does each and every one of us have in common I said heck I don’t know She Said We Including Her and I Are Over Weight again in a Word FAT. So this fella went on a 1000 calories Diet, it took off 95 Pounds just not Eating Sweets, Only One Tea half and Half at McDonalds also one Sausage&Egg and Cheese McGriddle then at around 2:30 or 3:00 pm I wouldn’t Eat a Grilled Chicken with Cheese and Pickles. Then maybe a Cheese and Cracker like the Ritz brand one or Two just to knock the back off. List folks I am not Bragging I want to simply tell you how I lost weight. Also if your over weight I don’t need to tell you that because you know it everyday of your life. I couldn’t Breath, I couldn’t even play with my Beautiful Grand Youngins so that was My Motivator I hope if your heavy and want to lose some pounds. Try it out the 1000 calories diet. Good Luck To You.
