I love that Ren has rappers, metalheads, rockers, etc. listening to what could "arguably" be called classic piano. He just does his thing and it works because you can feel his love for music and his emotion in each piece. Lovely.

You need to go watch Rens MV SUICIDE Aand FOR JOE ASAP!!!!!! Rens best friend/brother committed suicide when they were 17. Ren was running to the bridge his friend Joe was on while repeatedly dialing his phone getting bust signal. Then there was no connection. When he got to the bridge, Joe was gone already. Divers search for weeks but his body was never found. Ran left and never saw his friends parents again. Until last year when he put out this video and visited Joe’s parents and played it for them. Through this song he raised an amazing amount of money and presented it to the divers that had been a part of the search. This affected his entire life. This song for his friend McKay, was another friend who died five years later. You need to watch those videos for a better understanding of what rens been through!

Oh, I like you! Putting the cards with Ren's links at the end...you mean what you say when you tell people to go support the artist. I watch A LOT of reactors and it's a split between those who do it for money and those who do it for the love of music. I'm not hating on either side. For those that do it for the money, I hope they have nothing but success. Get that bag! They're just not my people. I'm a Gen X and music has kept me alive on many occasions. Ren is just the most recent to pull me out of a dark place. I'm so happy that you started this channel and found Ren right off the bat. It's almost the perfect experience for someone like you, who came into it looking to discover something that you haven't seen or heard before and has a connection with music that resonates with an artist like Ren. No matter who you are or what you like, he has something for everyone...and everyone seems to find him at just the right time for THEM. It's like watching magic happen when I find the right reactor discovering Ren for the first time. You are definitely one of them. Welcome to the Ren-naissance! ❤👽

@@oldmanmetaldude ~ I totally understand. I'm so grateful that he shared this one. He could have easily kept this one to himself or only played it at live shows sometime down the road in the future. I don't know if he's ever going to tour in the US or if I will ever get a chance to see him live so, I appreciate that he's just putting everything out for everyone to experience. ❤️

@@Little_Alien_Lost even less chance of him touring Australia, its not the most financially viable place to tour unless you are a big band with label backing, but I'd definitely go see his show
@Little_Alien_Lost9 ай бұрын
@@oldmanmetaldude ~ I knew you were in Australia but, I didn't even think about that whole aspect that you have to deal with. It's way more difficult to book artists to come out there. I live in Tucson, Arizona and we lose a lot of the good concerts to Phoenix, Arizona because it's a bigger city... more money...and they're really the only two big metropolitan cities in Arizona. All of the major artists/acts skip us. We do have a lot of smaller venues in Tucson that I honestly prefer to see live shows at. They'd be perfect for Ren to play in but, the likelihood that he picks this particular city, out of everywhere in the States that he could choose? No chance. Even though, his classical guitar playing would go over so well here, being so close to the Mexico border. I think it would be an amazing experience for someone like him, too. Have you seen any good live shows out there lately? Do you have venues nearby or do you have to travel to get to see live music?
@oldmanmetaldude9 ай бұрын
@@Little_Alien_Lost We don't get a lot of the bigger bands in my city as even though it is the nations capital, it has a much smaller population than Sydney which is only a few hours drive away. We do get a few bands come through, we have a medium sized venue ( hold 600-700 people) about 5 minutes drive from my house that gets some decent international bands play. There is a band called Unleash the archers, who I've been told to check out, okaying there soon, so I may go to that. I've had to miss out on quite a few big shows lately as I was in a car accident not long ago, and while no one was hurt I was responsible and paid the damages and had to buy a new car so cash is low haha. But I recently bought my ticket to see Iron Maiden again in sydney in september

Not wanting to take away from Ren....I am here because of your reactions to his music, but if you are looking for another unusual voice, I can recommend Aurora. She made a lot of songs now and I am not quite sure what song would be best to listen to first....but I heard "Murder song - 5,4,3,2,1" and "Running with the wolves" first. But she changes over time and becomes more experimental, which I love. Her songs spoke to me for the same reason Ren´s did, they sounded unusual to me und unafraid to be themselves. And Aurora is just a little weirdo and I connected with her ADHD, strangeness and visuals.

I think the premiers aren't for me: Chatting would be nice, if it was a bit (a whole lot) slower. And listening to Ren's music is a touching experience. But those two combined only leave me distracted and confused. Have tried twice, and cannot catch the music after the adhd / amphetamine -speed chat Listening to these afterwards only let me notice how beautifully crafted pieces of music they are
