Yeah, no kidding especially given the state of the 40 K lore. My first learned about it around 2010 or so when it was fully established canon, the imperium wipes systems out of existence over rounding errors on tax returns.

Over a rounding error? IRS doesn't even have a navy much less the authority to glass a planet. Warhammer lore has been written by many people and not all of it makes sense this is partly intentional as not all "cannon" lore is even true.

Half a dozen Gargantz will make you change your mind fast. For the people not getting the reference: Nogrub is talking and behaving like a mobster from the black and white era( considering the time period and the fact GW is based in England, they could be referencing the Krays). The Ork is coming back at a later date for more Dakka, it's basically a racket. It's not being merciful at all. That's just a figure of speech. The fact a Warboss understand this kind of things isn't so surprising, Ork society runs on intimidation and mob rule. This one in particular seems to be a blood axe, which are the more oomie-like

This should totally be a thing. Orks should be like the predator. If you refuse to fight them, they should get frustrated, throw a tantrum, and walk off. If a planet just surrenders... It should totally confuse the Orks. Of course, there would be casualties because Orks are slow... "Dis' the easiest fight evah, boss!" "Dat's coz dis ain't fitin! Yous jus killin und... vandalizin." Heck, if you do this, the Orks should start growing smaller in size until they become dormant, sprouting in times of peril in feral forms - like a safety kill designed by the Old Ones once their foes were defeated.
