There's a lot more. He obviously carries out a bunch of daily activities and gets around knowing where he is at; ie where things are. He knows his environment and familiar faces even though he doesn't always put the right names to them.

@@ahobbs2492 he will accompany me whenever I go out to the store or run errands. We take walks and watch TV. Boredom is a real issue. But with his memory resetting so fast it’s hard to keep him occupied for more than a few minutes.

Dan, you are a great son to your dad! I’ve been watching you for about a year now… I have my mom (83) living at our home here in WNY , she is having serious memory issues…. So much so she is seeing her dr. About it. I hope and pray that if she does have dementia, I’m as good as you are with your dad. I lost my pops in 2002 to damn cigs.. lung cancer took him at 71, however he was like he was 91… a brittle loving old man…. He loved his family so… your way with your dad really gets to me… I’m a 62 year old married man, father of 4 grown children, and 9 grandchildren… and I really miss my dad… enjoy his company…. God will bless you over and over for what you do! You inspire so many! Thanks … much love and respect to you, your family, and last but not least, your incredible dad Ed…peace bro… dz of Buffalo ny
