I was about 12 and I remember once being in the cosplay fandom and I still am for some reason but I was cosplaying as Harley Quinn right and I was walking around a convention taking pictures with people who wanted to and this adult man comes up to me and says oh my god are you cosplaying as Harley Quinn I reply yes?!??? He starts freaking out and repeating can I take a pic can I take a pic and when I finally take a picture with me instead of posing he GRABS MY ASS and I stand there shocked and surprised like this was my first cosplay and I just wanted to leave after that because after that I kept seeing him like he was following I could not stop freaking out

This is an Undertale story. It is about my long distance friend that I will call AJ. We both loved the game, but I wasn't really into the fandom. She wasn't in that deep and only really posted occasional fan art and requests on Tumblr. One day she took a request that wanted to feature a kiss between Sans and Frisk. It wasn't Sans x Frisk, but just a platonic kiss. So she drew a really cute picture of Frisk giving a little peck on Sans's smiling face. But as soon as she posted it to Tumblr, she got a bunch of messages accusing her of pedophilia and being a child predator. Thankfully, she had a lot of friends on the site that managed to drive those jerks away, but she doesn't really do that many requests anymore. So if I am to understand this right: a picture of an older, sexualized, skimpily clad Frisk gets comments like "Oh, nice!" or "Frisk is f*cking THICC!", but the innocent, platonic pic my friend created gets her accusations of being a pedophile? Well, this entire world makes a whole bunch of fucking sense doesn't it?

SERIOUS WARNING: Some fucked up shit goes down in this story. I was once an avid member of the Hetalia fandom. I was a bit young (about 11-12) and I went to my first con as Chibitalia. My mom and I were ordering food as I wandered off to a group of cosplayers dressed as the Axis Powers. We talked for a bit, and I went back to Mom. On the way though, a large person shoved me into their trenchcoat, covered my mouth and walked out of the main hall. I tried to kick away but it was so crowded, nobody noticed. She tried to shove me into her car, whispering about how adorable I was as Chibitalia, but the group from before happened to show up and caught her trying to kidnap me. They escorted me back to my mother, who was panicking with a security guard by her side. I'm still afraid to go to conventions.

So, I have a story that happened to me literally just last week. I had recently gotten into the Overwatch fandom and downloaded the Amino app for it, so I could post some of the fanart I've drawn. I wouldn't consider myself a great artist, but I've been drawing for a while, so I was pretty confident in my work. I had recently finished a digital drawing of Genji and, as a little joke I had between my friends, I drew him in a crop-top, innocent enough, right? Later on I discovered that my art had been featured to the front page and I was overjoyed. That is, until I read the comments. People literally called my art a monstrosity, called out every flaw in my anatomy, and threw slurs at me because I dare draw a character in feminine clothing. Someone even made a page just to mock me and my art. It got so bad that a moderator had to come in and de-feature my post, because every minute someone else would leave a comment about how my drawing was "cringe" or "gross." I'm only 15 and I had people telling me I was an awful artist, my anatomy was garbage, and that I should give up. Because I drew a male character wearing a shirt that exposed his stomach.

OK, so as a huge fan of the Legend of Zelda, I pretty much have as much merchandise as I can. I got the sword, shield, posters you name it. I even would do cosplay, to which I was proud of. My town has a little comic-con like thing once a year, and I thought "Hey, this can be a chance to show off my costume". Most people I met there were pretty cool and said I did a good job, except for this one fangirl who attacked me and said my cosplay was completely off design and said I should've done Dark Link because of my skin/hair color (Mexican, more on the darker side, with Raven hair) and even threatened to take my sword.

Do Homestuck. I got a story too: I dated a girl who was obsessed with Homestuck in Middle School. She was always saying she was too busy to go out when really she was just doing her weird RP with a 20+ year old guy set in the world of Homestuck. I later found out she was "cybering" the dude(sex over the internet, yeah ik it's weird). I also found out she was sending nudes to the guy. At that point I didn't know whether it was cheating or not, so I tried to convince her to stop getting involved with this guy and she started getting mad at me, telling me it was just roleplay and that she would cut herself or something. It took me a year but I broke up with her because she kept insulting me and threatening to cut her wrists every time I brought it up. She never did, by the way.

Here's an interesting story. Back in 8th grade I met this guy... let's just call him Jerry. I shared both my Math and Science classes with this guy. One day Jerry emailed me. I can't remember what exactly was in the email, but I think it was something Undertale related. I didn't know many people at my school who were into Undertale, so I responded with something else relating to Undertale. We had a little conversation, and he said he wanted to meet me irl. So, we hung out in the school library. I didn't know what Jerry looked like since I only chatted with him through email. Not only was he into Undertale, but he was also REALLY into Rick and Morty and Gravity Falls. He started talking about how he was from another dimension and how Bill Cypher was real. At first I didn't take him very seriously, thinking it was just some kind of joke. Boy was I wrong. He started acting really serious about it, saying he would often contact Bill and talk to him. He even gave me a ring to me saying that Bill gave it to him. I thought it couldn't get any worse. However, things got REALLY, REALLY bad after that. He started hitting on me and at one point even asked me to be his girlfriend. Every day during lunch period I would hang out by myself in the school library, but he would always be at the front door of the library and would constantly follow me wherever I went. I tried to tell him that I didn't want him to follow me around or that I didn't want to date him, but the asshole couldn't take a hint. It was so bad that I had to hide from him while he looked for me during lunch. Eventually he stopped following me, but would still flirt with me. (Sorry if this was a bit of a long one)

I have a Walking Dead story. It was the last day of a con, dressed as Negan we didn't plan to stay for the entire day. Waiting in line to get an actor's autograph, a larger man was behind us complaining about Negan and the recent state of the latest season. I played no mind, and just waited in line. Me and my father started to get hungry and left me to wait for a snack before we leave. The man approached me once more and grabbed my Luciel (a plastic bat with fake barbed wire) and swung it to my face knocking me over. I didn't get a concussion but an artist watching called security and had throw out the man from the con. The staff was highly apologetic, but I took the ride home on a train with a bloody nose, costume, and slight whiplash.

Let me tell you one: During their time in the danganronpa fandom, “Terrys” friends were sending them even death threats, hate and even more people to go against them without ANY evidence. That person still fears the dangan ronpa fandom, and it gets worst: some of them even jumped into their fandom (the bungou stray dogs fandom) and came there just to harass the poor person. So this person, they really just wanna enjoy anime and games, but people even gotten as far as to tell them “Don’t like this game / anime. Just leave the fandom, and if you don’t just kill herself.” “Terry” also has sexually abused the person, forcing them into internet sex and guilt tripped them when they refused to give terry his internet sex. Yeah. Basically, Terry has done terrible things to one minor, just because they lied about their age, since tumblr has some sort of hatred towards young people. EDIT: I also forgot to mention he cheated on another person with a minor, and attacked other people that roleplay the same character as him.

I remember having two people at school fight over who was the real *insert that one popular homestuck character* (i live in a 3rd world country if that makes it any weirder) sadly not many people outside of tumblr know about this, but there are hundreds of horror stories that you don't need to dig deep to find.

The otherkin community is literally the worst. Despite how small it may be compared to other toxic fandoms, it's still fucking terrible The only thing that's worse than otherkin, are fictionkin. People who as you said, believe they are a fictional character. You'll usually see them say shit like "if you are kin with *(insert character)*, ask to follow or get blocked". A lot of them actually say they are kin with real people, the most common ones I see are JackSepticEye and Markiplier (not surprised as their fanbases are pretty terrible). But the thing that confuses me the most with fictionkin, is that a lot of them are kin with multiple people? And I don't mean a few, like 2 or 3, I mean over at least 8 characters

Not sure if its a fandom but me and my friends were OBSESSED with minecraft and abandonded our school work just to play it. One day we were in my sever (which I posted into forums and messageboards) and Someone with the name Craftygirl667 joined. "She" and my friend micheal were really hitting it off and even started to roleplay! It turns out ms.crafty lives in our city. She said she was our age and wanted to hang out with my friend! Red flags went up in my head but micheal didnt get them. So, I end up going with him to the address which suprisingly was just the next neighborhood over! Oh I have one.This happened few years back in Tracon, where me and my few friends were dressed as characters from SATW (Scandinavia and the world web comics). We were outside in the con area bc it was too crowded inside, and after a good while, a 30+ person group of Hetalists decided to make a camp in front of us. Not a big deal. it was a big group, there was space so go ahead. It was calm enough for maybe 30 minutes and after that just looking at the direction of the Hetalists seemed like a chaos. They were loud and.. rather embarassing, but ok who doesn't love to have some good time in a con by stealing someone's props and accidentally breaking them, pulling each other's wigs out and pretending to steal smaller cosplayers and run over the yonder. As if that wasn't enough, at one point there was a scenario where a.. probably 12-15 years old girl dressed as a France (I believe) yelled from top of her lungs, that "Russia Raped me!". Over and over (the worst thing is that I happened to actually date that exact Russia at the time.. was not.. pleasant), it alarmed the security and myself too bc we were so close and we were in the open. I went there dressed as Iceland (or Germany, if I remember the day wrong) and basically just asked "wtf happened?". This girl didn't even hold back on yelling at my face that the Russia cosplayer "raped her" and even more did she show her displeasure after she heard that I was in factuality dating the so Russia and "he'd never do that". Basically this girl yelled straight to my face that I should leave my bf bc he's a rapist and a disgusting human being and that I'm disgusting too.The Security asked us to leave (me and my bf), so we did, I asked my bf wtf had been going on and his side of the story was "I had to tackle her because she took my phone. And I did not tackle her hard".Needless to say my bf left the fandom pretty quick after that. Idk which was worse, the fact that a girl under 15 years of age goes around telling that someone raped her without even knowing the meaning of it, or the fact that many people from the Hetalia meeting came and harassed my bf during the con because of the situation and called him a pedo.

I have a death note fandom horror story. When I was around 14 I was still new to going to conventions and my mom brought me to one in Kentucky as a birthday present, I was cosplaying as a character from the Death Note light novel 'Beyond Birthday' he was only mentioned in the anime but at the time his character was getting pretty popular in the fandom I was surprised I was the only one cosplaying him, which got me alot of attention from death note fans. This one girl who I think was around my age possibly a little younger saw me and freaked out screaming in that high pitched anime girl impression "OMG B.B.- KUN" and just kinda kept rambling about me cosplaying her "Husbando" at first I just kinda went along with it and talked about the anime and how I liked Beyond Birthday....but then she started following me all around the convention and would not leave me alone even when I asked her too she even started talking to me and treating me as if I were the actual character. Eventuly I lost her and I asked a friend i had made a few months ago that was at the same convention to hide me from this crazy chick and thankfully she did. But when I was going back to my hotel room low and behold who do I hear yelling "BB KUN" crazy fan girl I ran to the room as fast as I could and locked the door and this chick was trying to open the door jiggling the handle and ramming against the door laughing the whole time. She didn't recognize me the next day when I was in a different costume thank God and I just tried to avoid her me and my roommates told the con security. I thought that was the end of it at a year later at my home town local anime convention THERE SHE WAS AGAIN and i was dressed as Beyond Birthday I spent the last half of that day trying to run away and hide from her. When my mom came to pick me and my friend up I all but dove into the car with my friend slamming the door shut and locking the doors yelling for my mom to drive with crazy girl trying chase the car. The next day of the convention my friend told con security about it and how this had happened with the same girl at another convention too. Thankfully I never saw her again after that.

So this isn't as much a horror story as just a weird one I experienced at a convention. So this was the first convention I had ever cosplayed at and like the second or third convention I ever went to, so I was still rather new to all of the stuff that happens at them. So me and my grandma made this Nyo!Canada cosplay (yes I was part of the Hetalia fandom, it was one of the first anime I had ever watched in it's entirety at the time), and looking back the cosplay was not that good. That aside so the convention ran for two days, and the first day I went with my family and a friend that didn't have a ride for the first day. When coming back he mentioned he was meeting up with friends that I knew at the convention tomorrow and invited me. Since it would mean being at the convention with friends instead of my parents and brother it sounded like a great idea. So I went to the convention all dressed up only to feel out of place when everyone else was dressed normally. So we went around the convention, looking at booths and such, till someone suggested meeting their sister to see them working the maid cafe. So this was on a college campus so we had to walk from one building, across a courtyard, to the other, sounds simple enough. So while we were walking I just hear someone quietly out in the distance yelling "caaaannnnaaaaAAAADDDDAAAAAA SAAAAAVEEEE MEEEEE" and I am suddenly latched into a hug by an America cosplayer (I am naturally a person fine with hugs so it didn't really bother me that much, just more surprise than anything). So I have this blubbering America latched onto me and I can see my friends walking away in the distance. Before I can ask the America what is going on this Russia cosplayer comes over and starts wrapping their scarf around us. I somehow pieced together that these two were joking around about Russia trying to make America "one with him" and seeing a random Canada seemingly on their own (I was walking slower than my group) decided to try to have me join in on their shenanigans. It took me a minute to get the Russia and America off me (this poor quiet, nervous, trainwreck that I was), apologize for not being able to join them, and run off to find my group of friends. But wanna know the kicker to all of this? Not the America latching onto me out of no where. Not the Russia assuming I'm apart of this while I was genuinely confused. Not the Germany that was recording the whole thing so there is probably a video of this circling around the internet. NOPE! The kicker was when I caught up to my friends not a single one of them noticed that I was gone. At. ALL! I legit asked and they didn't even noticed that I upped and disappeared on them.

I dunno if you're still taking requests for hetalia horror stories, but I have one for you. I was at AX 2011 and I was cosplaying Germany because I related to his personality. I was a weeb and a minor at this time too, yes, but I knew what consent was and knew how to not put people in danger. First official day of the con, and 2 Italy cosplayers saw me. One ran to me, one waited to see what the other would do, so they did that too. They were an ok distance away to where they were far enough to give me a few seconds, but I also asked them to not touch me. Despite that, I saw this look in their eyes that told me to run anyways. So I did. Two turned to Five, Five turned to a large amount of cosplayers. I tried going through various things to deter them but in the end I didn't escape and I could not breathe for half a minute, and then when i said I wasn't able to breathe it took them 10-15 more seconds to break away. Months after the con, I thought I saw someone else in Germany cosplay having the same experience... or was that a fever dream? Was it even consensual? I couldn't tell you. The event was so absurd that a large group of people felt chasing me and grabbing me was ok that I don't think I'll ever forget it. So uh. Quick question. Are you gonna do a fandom files on osomatsu san? Did that get covered yet? Or is that just you're using gifs from the show? And as well I have no opinions so long as you do what you want. With regards to your closing question: It generally helps to have some kind of consistent theme to your channel (in this case your anime videos) so people can easily refer back to you, but it's also perfectly fine to branch out here and there with other videos. I think branching out to things like these fandom stories was a great choice because it directly involves anime and pop culture, so it all ties in to your content very nicely. If you keep heading in this direction (as it also clearly shows with your growing subscriber count) I think you'll do great! If you wanna stick to primarily an anime theme, maybe you can branch out to things like anime related games, anime that have game adaptations or vice versa, a look into Japanese culture in general and how it is represented in anime or maybe vice versa, Western fandoms vs. Japanese fandoms, cosplaying culture, artists/the art community, anime/pop culture conventions, etc. Since fandom videos directly involve social media, maybe you can make more videos on social media culture/communities and the like, there's TONS of stuff to go on, but I'd be talking forever lol. Anyways, keep it up!

I have a creepypasta fandom horror story, I few years ago I had left a pretty blood curdling cringey comment on a creepypasta fan video with Ticci Toby in it and at the time I was fresh outta the fifth grade and was not mature at all. So I left a dumb comment about how I had a big crush on Toby (which I did at the time) and of course there were a lot of nasty comments but one really stood out. To protect the innocent I'll just call her Jen, Jen left a comment reply saying that i was a dumb bitch and Toby was hers then RP shot me. Frisk goes to a new game with the help of Chara and attacks Touhou 6's Sakuya Izayoi, a time stopping maid known for fighting Dio in the One Minute Melee. --__SPOILERS FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO SEE THIS FIGHT__-- Sakuya wins, and the Undertale fans were PISSED. A bunch of people were triggered on how "Chara is multiversal" even though their only evidence of this was VsBattle Wiki, which is heavily biased. They thought that Chara should've stomped Sakuya, while the result was well thought-out and creative. Others think that Chara could stomp the entire Touhou cast (With characters that can control fate and warp reality on a whim.) and some even wanted to bring in AUs (Authors Note: Did you know that there are 723 RECORDED AUs in the Undertale Fandom?) Some even went as far as to saying that they were going to KILL the maker of the video, and telling him to kill himself. The Touhou fandom wasn't having any of it, so they lashed back (and I'll admit it, I was one of them) trying to convince them that a kid with a knife can't destroy multiverses but they weren't even listening. Goes to show how childish some people can be. AND ON TOP OF THAT, THE MAKER MAKES A NEW VIDEO HOPING TO TRY AND QUELL THE WAR BETWEEN TOUHOU AND UNDERTALE. It didn't, with Undertale fans saying that "Asriel's immortal" "Asriel has infinite defense" "Asriel should've killed that bitch" Overall, the dark side of Undertale's fandom is filled with salty murderous children.

I was somewhat deep in the Hetalia fandoms a few years ago. I thought the fandom was actually pretty decent at first, but a couple fans in my school got into a nasty fight and were suspended over a character. IIRC, one of them was talking about how England was their favorite character, the other said Finland, and BOOM, soon enough they were fighting.

danganronpa, well, not really. they're actually 19-20, despite their appearances. they were kinda brainwashed into thinking they were younger, around 16-17. i dont know about persona though.
