Fantastic car and a great movie of it.....Thanks David. I saw the film on Top Gear when it was first shown and remember hoping that they would put it into production at a price that I could afford. How lucky was I when it came up for sale in 2014.....the car is now in my collection located in Florida. I am hoping to take it to shows along with a friend that has 2 XJ220's.

The One off Coupe road car is absolutely magic what a shame they only made one, its styling is right up there with the Alfa 33 stradale and the 206SP DINO. I believe it currently lives in Scotland.

@@banjopete Clarkson, May and Hammond made it interesting. A lot of people got into cars because of the way they presented it otherwise top gear wouldn't have been popular. Same way Attenborough managed to make documentaries more interesting.

How many cars was used in this film? He enter to a car with left side stering-wheel and when he drives it... looks like he's on right side of a car... Both cars have same plate nr. And offcourse there is 3rd wich he drives in the end of film.

Die Replik sieht nicht wirklich gut aus.. Es wäre perfekt, wenn die vorderen Blinker nicht so hässlich wären. Die komischen Heckleuchten sehen aus, als wenn sie aus einem alten Bus gestohlen wären. ;) Ein Ford-Motor ist nicht zu vergleichen mit einem V-12 von Jaguar. Das Interieur ist auch nicht gelungen. Man bedenke: Das sollte eigentlich ein Sportwagen werden.... So wurde nur eine Rentnerschaukel draus. Schade......

Norbert Aule Ich denke, das war 10 Jahre oder noch länger her... Heute würde da vielmehr Wert auf eine hochwertige Optik gelegt werden! Die Idee ist toll, die Umsetzung nicht so ganz... Wahrscheinlich hatte diese Firma eher bescheidene Mittel zur Verfügung... Das Cockpit sollte sich auch mehr am Original halten! Ein Traum wäre es, wenn diese XJ13 Replika so toll wie die E-Type von der Firma "Eagle" aussehen würde! Eagle machen richtig hochwertige Restomods auf Basis von alten E-Type! So ähnlich wie Singer es bei seinen Porsche 964 Carrera macht! ;-)
