good tip that you might want to add for unit promotion, other then gaining xp from killing enemies, you can build tile improvements to gain passive xp every year for your units. after so much xp gained you no longer need training points to upgrade the units.

This was very helpful! As someone who’s oom aye s a few Old World games, I still learned a lot from this!

Great tips! I particularly like the first one regarding families.

As good as this game looks it needs a bit of UI/UX clean up. Lots of dense info with long-reach consequences is really hard to digest a lot of that info.
@Pinstar4 жыл бұрын
100% agreed, but I've seen the Dev tweeting that the UI is currently being worked on and is not in a state they want it to be, so I am optimistic that it will get much better than what we see here.

@@Pinstar Good news then. I really like the game, I never could get into CK2 because the grand strategy genre is not my genre. I like starting from square one (which is why I can actually play Stellaris). So finally getting to play some CK2 style game with 4X mechanics is dope. Also, at least from what I saw Rome has no tile-dependent families. I might have missed something but they do seem to be resource agnostic across the board. Just some info to check out.

Nah, I like how it is very complex. Sick of games being dumbed down for retards.

Hi I wonder how you can transport units through ships to another continent and what's the purpose of roads? Btw very nice tip with the construction of production facilities around water.

does anyone know if this game is made with Unity? its always crashing before I can even start.... civ6 is working perfectly fine on my pc, so the only thing I can think of is a crappy engine(had lots of problems with Unity so far)

I’m sure you have your answer already but yes it is..and I’m having that issue too

I enjoy this game but I've only gotten as far as turn 45 because the game crashes every time. Usually around turn 30.

Yeah it’s tricky. AI is much better than Civ.

Finally - someone who knows not to record the damn theme music!
@Pinstar4 жыл бұрын
Most streamers/youtubers, myself included, made that mistake initially. With classical music, one assumes public domain which was NOT the case. They (Mohawk Games) weren't the ones going after us for the licensed music, but they also didn't give us a heads up that the music was licensed and might cause issues if included in videos.

Sure about how that "dibs" mechanic works? The northern one has Babylon under it, which I assume means it's "yours". The southern one don't have any name.
@Pinstar4 жыл бұрын
The northern one was a previously cleared barbarian camp that would respawn in ten years if I didn't settle it and left it alone. My military unit parked on it was suppressing the barb respawn which is why it had my name. The other site to the south was empty and was not previously occupied by any other faction, minor nation or barbarian.

Shame its epic store game looked interesting... oh well it will be steam in a year at half of with fewer bugs like most other games, I can wait.
@harjutapa4 жыл бұрын
doubtful. This game was bankrolled BY Epic. I doubt you'll see it on their main competitor any time soon.

@@chessguy246 The biggest issue, it's backed by Tencent aka the CCP/CPC, and is has a ethical problem to say the least. Has already lied multiply times, locks and divides PC players, for no reasons. Add to that they they have shown and said their cut's for dev's isn't viable in the long run, but still use it to critique others that already have stated ti. Oh yeah, and it's a horrible luncher that has lost people their games, and slows down the computer more than it should. have they even added a cart yet ?
