Wow. This woman is inspirational to all of us who are getting older. Like her shirt says, age is no excuse. She is living proof that you can get stronger and thrive as you get older. Congratulations to her and thanks for this interview.

Thanks for having Ginny on! She is truly an inspiration. I just started going to the gym at 82. I did have a concern that my strength and muscle wouldn't increase but Ginny gives me hope. All the discussion on healthy longevity has really motivated me and I'm having the time of my life!

Ginny, you are truly an example and motivation for us older women! Thanks for all you do to help us! How do you push through the age related aches and pains? I find myself skipping certain movements due to the normal pain of aging. God bless!!
@jellybeanvinkler48789 ай бұрын
I have discovered, at 68, that all age related pain is DIET RELATED in reality. Drop the inflammatories in your diet. Eat more anti inflammatory foods! All my aches and pains went away with whole food keto/low carb diet. Also check out Sally Norton re oxalates. I'm still working on eliminating oxalate toxicity in my body tissues.

She’s amazing. I think her diet is pretty inflammatory though.

Your nuts! She prioritized protein. Seniors don’t synthesize protein well. She dropped dairy. She dropped soda. She dropped processed foods. She gets sleep. She plays. Laughs. She gets sunshine. Works on balance. She’s doing what 99.99% of the population is too lazy to do!! Exercising & eating zero processed foods or sugary products. She’s inspiring.

She kicked out processed food and diary, but that large amount of carbs she mentioned is highly inflammatory. And she suffers from joint inflamation. You are correct.

@@ladybird169😊 The one thing that makes arthritis worse for me is the seed oils. I found some grain free chips made with avocado oil that don't seem to bother me.

Do tell @jeromepopiel388 what/where are these chips!?
@bchristine589 ай бұрын
I agree, somewhat. Hopefully she is NOT eating CAFO Meat and TRUE Wild Salmon only. Also peanut butter - whether conventional or organic - can contain aflatoxin and more prone to mold, depending how it's processed. And hopefully she avoids seed oils and sticks with the healthy oils like xv-coconut, and TRUE xv Olive oil. She looks and sounds so young ~ kudos to her :)

I'm 52. Ive decided theres no good reason I can't do a dragon squat. I have fitness goals that i think i can achieve. These include mostly bodyweight stuff. I see no reason i can't do a one armed pullup. I'm working on my upper body flexibility. Its just time. Time budgeting for exercise and sleep is the principle obstacle i see.

I have had osteoarthritis of the knees for 18 years. My doctor told me to do e excuses to strengthen all the leg muscles to support my knees - for the rest of my life. Bless his heart. I obeyed him. I am 77 now. I joined a gym then and avoided knee replacement surgery. At 70, I began trekking and have done 3 Himalayan treks and over 45 short day treks since. I climbed into a cave a few days ago, which involved a two hour trek. I exercise regularly and have a routine to take care of balance, legs, arms, etc. Warm-ups and stretching are important, too. As I have weight issues, I stay on a very low carbohydrate vegetarian diet. It's the best diet, for maintaining my weight. I do not crave other foods.
@jakobw1359 ай бұрын
@@mayamaker8841 I follow a good diet and lifestyle. But that's NOT ENOUGH to treat or REVERSE Osteoarthritis. My question STILL REMAINS regarding OZONE INJECTIONS!
